imagine if most youtubers were this positive and didnt seem like entertainment junkies or trolls. This guy was just all positive and good while advertising for a international business. The food and video was so good I got hungry and went to my local thai restaurant.👍

Mark I love your long vlogs, they are not just informational. They make me drool as well :) keep up the good work man. Your efforts are really paying off!
by far the Thailand series is MY fave. So many different varieties of food, I've been to Thailand over 10 times and never had a firepot! but my next visit I will most definitely!
I'm always waiting for your next video! Thank you for doing what you do! I know there must be a lot of background work put into the videos that we don't see. Carrying the camera around, having people watch u record urself LOL! Lots of footage to go through, editing, and more! We just get to see the final product. Thank you! I def enjoy watching all your videos and look forward to new ones. Would you consider doing a Q&A or "get to know me" type video? It would be awesome for all your subscribers to get to know you and Ying on a more personal level! Thanks again for all ur work!
Mark I like your positive outlook on food and love your enthusiastic smile when you enjoy certain food by tilting your head to the right. You are entertaining and I always feel hungry after watching your blogs. You and your wife seem like good people, keep up the good work.
I want you to know , every bad comment I see I put thumbs down on them , you all are beautiful people , the world is filled with so much ignorant people , we have to ignore , because right now your an inspiration to all , keep up good work and yes I eat after watching you lol , come on you make our day , thank you and God Bless forever 😋😋👍🏻
Mark and Ying, Bangkok is beautiful. Love the modes of transportation :) I enjoy that you are early morning people. The wood apple is very interesting and something I would try. Thanks for sharing all that wonderful food. Take care. :)

Pailin is in Thailand right now for a wedding/vacation. You guys should definitely do a collaboration as you guys are both my favorite Thai food youtubers.
Just started viewing your channel...FANTASTIC feasting! I am truly amazed at the quantity of delicious food varieties you consume and yet you don't weigh 300+ pounds. You have produced a great food channel.
Filming even while biking, Mark?! Please do share some insights on the equipment you're using - both sound (audio) and video quality is par excellence across this entire series!
when I was a kid I didn't even know that I was eating innards in the fiery beef hotpot. Loved the rubbery texture because it felt like the meal lasted longer by chewing on them. I also loved how your wife gets to speak more in the video
My mom used to make Jam with Woodapple .... you made me nostalgic watching you enjoy this fruit! Keep those videos rolling!!! You guys make a great pair!
Much respect for making the effort of learning and speaking the Thai language so well, Mark. Most farang dont even try. Best wishes to you in your adventures in LOS =)
I just started watching your videos and I love them ! I don't know how you stay thin eating all that food , LOL...but I think your so sweet and love to see you with your wife and baby....look forward to seeing more of your videos. All those people who criticize you are not nice people, they don't have to look at your videos! So much negativity is just sad 😟 I love the faces you make ❤❤❤
Great videos as always. I've been living in Bangkok for one year and I feel that you are are living in a total different city when I watch your videos. I need to get my farang ass off Sukhumvit areas. Keep the good uploads coming
In India especially in West Bengal and even in Bangladesh the wood apple is called "koyet bel/kot bel" in Bangla. Its very sour in taste. And we eat it like a street side pickle mixer with sugar, salt, chilli and chopped corriendar leaves. Its a mouth watering pickle.
Yum! That flaming beef soup contains all the things I love: tripe, blood, tendons. Thank you for sharing. By the way, the Hmong have adopted Thai/Lao words. It's so nice to hear you say "mapow" (coconut), "manow" (lime), "pai" (go). Love you guys!
Another job well done Mark and Ying on the video(I see you Dwight). I know exactly where that pier is for the boat ride, amazing view! I enjoy walking the markets too and meeting/interacting with the vendors. It's my favorite part of traveling and the food of course. Until the next video Mark and Ying, thank you for sharing your travels with us all.
+Mark Wiens Like Andrew Zimmern says often, travel moves you. I can see the passion in your eyes when it comes to food and travel. You are lucky to have Ying to share that passion with. Have a good night my friend!
+Mark Wiens Mark I would be VERY leery of eating ice in restaurants over there anywhere in Asia. I have seen blocks of ice DRAGGED across very filthy looking floors then used for patrons; and diners, drinks (and desserts!!) which I can only just imagine might make everyone very, very, very ill .....
Oh, I wanna be there soooo much! I have to ask God to help me be able to travel soon. He is the best always! God bless you and your family! Keep the good faith and thank you for all the delicious videos!
Absolutely fascinating and so engaging.Real piers, real boats, real bikes and a real price for us real people-just fantastic and so rarely documented. The food was utterly beguiling and I so love the hustle and bustle of these little alley ways which erupt into wonderful food emporiums at a price I could afford, they leave my lunch in shame. The grandma who served you the apple was beautiful and reminded me so much of my own mother and aunts and isn't it fantastic she is still running her own business-brilliant? As ever Mr Wiens this documentary of life in Bangkok is growing as an odyssey of real life for real people,we had a glimpse of this in China from a few other bloggers but then they were hastily changed(how disappointing),please don't change your format and let your story telling, via food,be a reference for us ordinary folks. This is why I so enjoy these blogs, its a story of us untold millions in every country struggling to make a living, peppered with the spices that are our lives and the utter joy of food with family and friends that transcends all barriers. As ever, more please.
Adding morning glory & fried garlic helps cut down on the sweetness of the broth....I also ordered their dry noodles to go with the hot pot...basically is noodles with fried garlic & oil... it was so tasty and goes really well with the beef
Wow, everything it looks delicious, i can't wait to visit Bangkok Thailand, and hopefully my husband and i we see you there Mark Wiens. And more power to your blog......

It seems you have the same reaction to every food in every one of your videos.
Food LOVERS generally do.
That's so cool to see all the places you go to eat and shop it's such an awesome blessing!
Is the morning glory like asparagus?
The leaves are more like spinach and the stems are a little crunchy. They are really good.
Thank you.
Its called water spinach in some areas.
Adding morning glory & fried garlic helps cut down on the sweetness of the broth....I also ordered their dry noodles to go with the hot pot...basically is noodles with fried garlic & oil... it was so tasty and goes really well with the beef
