Great review! I’m a big fan of the Edradour 12 Caledonia and I’ve been curious about this one. Thanks for putting in the work!

What market are you in brother? It's AUD it's $100ish, but that's cheap here for this bottle. For context the Uigedail you mentioned now typically runs at $199 AUD, $150 on special

Here in the US, you can't get Corryvrecken for less than $100 anymore, but you can pretty reliably get Uigeadail for less than $99 USD.

Good video, but Itotally disagree with your appreciation of this whisky. How can you not have peat on the nose? To mention one thing.
      Maybe we taste different batches.
That sour taste you mention did not show up in the Netherlands either!
Or maybe we have just a different taste, no one to blame for that.
But did you pay US$ 90 for a bottle? That is a lot of money indeed, I paid €50, and I don't regret it.
The combination of peat and the sherrycask really does it for me.
      Cheers and GBU! 🥃🥃

Edradour is an interesting distillery, years ago I was turned off after trying all their standard offerings, but some of their single barrels at cask strength with interesting barrels can be great. I really like a SFTB Bordeaux Ballechin they did a couple years ago.
Pricing has a similar markup to Springbank in the US, especially on their special barrels. Pricing in Europe is much better (although creeping up).
