Not comparing myself to others because God's time is the best..
As a friend who is getting married, I have to say that waiting on God's timing and being content in the season you're in doesn't end. Even when your prayer is answered the temptation to compare yourself to others is still there. Thank you for reminding us Anna that God is good and faithful in every season❤

Yall say "waiting for God's plan" as in waiting for someone else to fix your problem. You're not taking action in improving your circumstances and getting closer to that age that men can't have a family with you, thus have no reason to risk marrying you. Losing custody of kids, half his shit, and the emotional damage of losing a wife and children are all NEGATIVES for the man. In essence y'all are a bad deal.
You don't know, care, think or even worry about what men value, which is why there are on so many on the web complaining about not having a man.
Y'all have a tendency of blaming everyone else when the reason why you don't have a man is because you don't know what bait to use to get a man. If you did, you would be married. Your money doesn't make you equal to him. Your education doesn't make you equal to him. Men don't care about your money or education when it comes to selecting a woman to get married and raise a family with.
FYI the reason most men get married is to start a family. That is the designated purpose of marriage.
Dealing with emotions and thoughts can be difficult. One thing I heard Jackie Hill Perry say is, sometimes, God working things out for our good can hurt but at the end it will be good

Casting our cares and burdens to God is much easier said than done but it’s such a relief in the end. And yeah He truly cares about every detail of our lives
I was sharing that verse with my coworker the other time
That question is something we ask for conversation sometimes and we don’t deep how it might impact the person we are asking it. It something we need to be conscious off

I FELL U 🩷 I broke up w my ex a year ago... who that I thought was the one. Now that im single and will be turning 28 in few months it honestly feels like it too late to find someone good. All the dates I go on are just meh and they all want fwb. But all my friends are starting families and getting married so I feel left out sometimes
Thank you for the transparency! I’d say ask yourself in who’s standard do you feel “late”? Friends, family? And search your heart to see why you want marriage, is it because everyone else is getting married? Like marriage is not something to jump into because others are doing it. I can totally relate to feeling like there are fewer options but trust in God that if He gave you the desire for marriage, He will also provide a godly partner, one whole will be equally yoked with you.
