Great video! The other difference between the sizes is, apparently, the smaller ones are thinner too. Again great video! Excellent pace and THANK YOU for speaking clearly you've got a great voice/pace for this sort of thing! 🙌
I had one inside, where the Lil plastic scoop/shelf thing is. The thing that brings the cubes forward into the basket, it was really hard for me to get to it. Like what the heck. At first I was afraid I got a used unit the way the plastic was half on half off but then it appears some of it is in the seams of machine, so either poor quality Control or refurbished?
I feel like how to initiate the self cleaning process is a part of the “everything you need to know” yet it’s not included- I’ve pressed the cleaning button for 5 and for around 30 seconds and nothing happens…
I guess it depends on your needs. It’s fine to leave it plugged in all the time if you’re going through a lot of ice. But it also starts producing ice quickly so you can just plug it in and use it as needed as well.
Why can’t it be set up mirror a wall? There is a small countertop trim buffer between the wall and the item currently I can move it but I’m just curious as to why.
The manual advises that you leave a minimum of 3 inches clearance around the side and back walks for proper air circulation. So, I think you could put it next to a wall but just leave at least a 3 inch or more buffer for circulation.
I think since you quickly unplugged it, you should be okay. All you can do is try again and hope that the compressor was not damaged now that you have allowed time for the refrigerant to settle.
Hi there - on ours, you push the button on the right side until the size of ice that you want is lit up. I apologize if that doesn’t really answer your question. We haven’t experienced it toggling between sizes so I’m really not sure why that would happen.
Where are the sensors on this effin thing??!!.....we keep getting "ice full" error light even though no ice is even in there!!!! Pkus never hear fan turn on....piece of garbage
I just bought this based on the numerous great reviews. The directions say to throw out the 1st 4 cycles of ice. Just thought I'd mention that.
Thanks for adding that information!
Thanks for the info! Happy Turkey Day!
Same to you!
Thank you! Does it need to be plugged before first use?

You’re welcome ☺️ Thanks for the kind feedback.
Don't forget the plug underneath. I didn't check and the 1st go round all the water ran out. 😂

Thank you so much!😊
You're welcome 😊
Thank you!
You’re welcome ☺️
It would have been helpful to show where the filament tape was. I only saw 3 but see comments on Amazon it’s hard to find them all
Thanks for the feedback.

A year later, is this still functional?
Yes, it still works just fine.

I like how yours is the only comment she didn’t respond to and here I am wondering the same Goddamn thing.
I have a question if you would please answer.
After I have the necessary ice that I need. Should I leave it plugged in all of the time?

I would not leave it plugged in and in use all of the time. I burnt the motor out of one doing that.
@@diannemcdonald3899 Thank you!
@@diannemcdonald3899 so do you recommend a duration or frequency of time when it shouldn't be on to preserve its life span?
How long before the container is full of ice?
It takes about 30-45 minutes

Near a = mirror

Mine just got here. I plugged it in super quick before i read the 24/hr Upright sticker. Unplugged it quickly. Did i ruin it?
I think since you quickly unplugged it, you should be okay. All you can do is try again and hope that the compressor was not damaged now that you have allowed time for the refrigerant to settle.
Doubt it
How did it go?
@@gingerleigh_ been working great!
How do you select the size of ice, mine just keeps toggling between the small and large?

it's not necessary to throw away first batches of ice?
Good point! It is best to throw out the first batch or two.
