    Hi Jonas, can you please make a tutorial on that Office Interior Animation?
    -and how did you make that BackGround Environment? What is your method...

      Background was a picture, just a panorama. Very simple. And I have an interior lighting tutorial already on my channel! You can check this out first :)

    hey this is the most impressive lighting shading reel i have ever seen. can you tell me do i have to model and texture things for a lighting/shading reel? or is it completely okay to take done models, do a layout and make a nice lighting/shading scene? i’ll really appreciate your answer.

    • @JonasNoell

      Thank you :-) As for your question if you not applying as a generalist but specialize on lighitng/shading it should be no problem to take existing models and so on. In reality noone can always model everything from scratch, using libraries for projects is more the norm than the exception. Just make ure that in your reel you state exactly what your tasks were and don't take credit for things you didn't do. For lighting/shading the focus should be on the overall picture and show that you balanced everything nicely to get the optimal result.

    Hi, on Oblivion, are you just an outsource of that movie? or one of the production team?

    • @JonasNoell

      Was hired by Pixomondo during this time as an artist and those were some of the shots assigned to me :-)

    Wow congrats! This looks amazing. Any chance you could do a breakdown or tutorial on the Roewe RX 5 effects, the car and wires sweep? Or any tips on where to find info about it? Really nice 3Ds work.

    • @JonasNoell
      @JonasNoell  3 года назад

      That is super simple. Just animated a cylinder along a path deform with an animated texture and some shader work. You can check out my solar flare tutorial for very similar effect, same technique was used. :)

      @daveson3D 3 года назад

      @@JonasNoell thank you! Just watched it and wouldn’t have guessed the flares could be done that way. Did you use the same method for the scan/sweep effect on the car in the Roewe RX5? If you ever release some paid course/tutorial it please let me know, checking patroon for now. Thanks again!

      @@daveson3D Hi, yes its done in a similar fashion but I used a VRay Distance Texture and a Plane to slice through the car if I remember correctly, it's already some years old :) I will check if have the time to do a full course, maybe in the future. Until then you can find many bonus lessons and scene files on my Patreon :)

      @@JonasNoell off course! Vray distance texture! Man i find myself trying to do effects and always over-complicating it. Thanks Jonas!! You're awesome! I gotta say that padawan patreon level seems interesting 😉

    Nicely done, very good reel man! I would start with all feature film scenes, they have more weight.

      Thanks, I will consider that for the next reel. Some of the feature moview were already quite some time ago, that's why I put them in the end! :-)

    Wait a minute, u edit tom cruise's movie? U must be so rich hahah thanks for doing youtube tutorials to help us.

      Working for bigger studios may involve you to work on shots for Hollywood movies. But that doesn't make you rich by no means and it also doesn't mean that Tom Cruise has any clue who you are 🙂
