Dopo 50 anni di moto di grossa cilindrata, ho deciso di ordinare il MONKEY HONDA. Questo e' il mio punto di arrivo dopo un brutto incidente con l'africa twin 1100 che ho gia' venduto due giorni fa. Purtroppo mi verra' consegnato a marzo - aprile 2024. Non vedo l'ora di averlo x poter divertirmi come quando ero ragazzino, avendo avuto un cinquantino simile (Cimatti mini kick). Lo aspetto con trepidazione.
We have so many crazy drivers texting rather than driving in the Northeast..I'd be dead in a week if I got one of those. But I'd probably die smiling !
LOL… I know what you mean about the placement of the horn button. I used to have a Suzuki that had the horn and turn signal buttons reversed from what my Monkey has. Within the first couple blocks of riding one or the other, I would inevitably beep the horn when meaning to use the turn signal. 😂
Had a Honda Z50E Monkey in the 80s. Original, true classic, Japan not China (avoid all China products please!) it was 4-stroke, so silent & nice compared to the gruesome monsters of today that spit out ear shattering sound they should be banned by law! And the Z50 had semi-automatic gears - what an excellent improvement over the irritating and complicated hand clutch! Speed was max. 40km/h here in Scandinavia, but that's sick speed for a youngster! And hell it was durable! You could press the shit out of it in forest still go strong. Not a China plastic toy crap. Good memories This bike is excellent for lovers, take your girl(s) with you on the bike they will LOVE it
Oh Christ, they put the horn in the middle like on the CT125? Damn I hate that. Why can't HOnda stay in tune with the rest of the world's manufacturers? We've spent 100 years with the horn on the bottom and Honda has to fuck it up!
I am still on the fence about whether to buy a Monkey, a Trail Cub, or DW200? They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Really enjoy your videos. 👍👍
Great little video, great little bike. Nice job dude. Can i ask how tall you are? thinking of getting one of these. Cannot agree more about the trash, hate it. Same problem here in UK ☹
@@jiujitsu2000 you know, that's about what my '70 Honda Trail 90 would do. I sure did like that thing. I see that they have a CT-125 now but I don't think it has the hi-lo gear box. What a shame. That is one of the things that made the trail 90 so great.
Enjoyed the video. But, if the trash bothers you so much , why not take trash bag with you and pack some it out yourself? If more people would do that, the country would look better. Just saying...
Tons of truth to your comment and if you haven't seen my videos where I take my small fishing boat out there... I pick up trash out there all the time. Blessings!
Love my Monkey. Great little bike. Nice video
These are excellent bikes I just got back from filming a overnight or on the monkey so that video will be coming out soon.
I bought mine yesterday literally going to pick it up right now!! Viva Honda Monkey!!
Heck yeah! Thank you, Blessings from Arizona!
👍
It 's important to deflate tyres to 0,8 bar (12 psi), it is a game changer.
I too just got my 2022 Monkey in yellow. I feel ya on the horn placement and people's trash. Safe travels.
I had a 73 z50 it’s responsible for it all
That bike is awesome!

I was going to say you sound cold... nice moped/scooter.
I was! lol... thank you
It has real gears and a real clutch , it's not a scooter don't be rude 😏.

Hmm. You're starting to convince me. How much does it depend on electronics? That is the BIG reason I want something from the 60s...
Is fuel injected and has a control module and sensors.
@@rheidtech okay. thank you
Older is good, thus one has a throttle body
@@jiujitsu2000 that's my thoughts as well.
@@MiscMitz you can never go wrong with older bikes. I tried to get a 65 honda trail, but it sold... lol
Hi from Syracuse NY brother thank you for sharing your adventures and thoughts
It certainly did look like lots of fun. Thank you for sharing my friend! Love and blessings!

110 mpg, had mine a year so i've had many fill ups .
Hi. Longtime subscriber here. Any advise on how to find a Honda Monkey?
Very Cool! 😎
Thank you! Cheers!
I took my sportster down a dirt road once lol rattled my license plate off mirrors went all over and 2 turn signals were hanging by the wires lol

Suzuki DR200. I had one and sold it to get Chinook. I regret selling it.
I went through the same decision .
Tw200, Monkey, or Cub.
I did go with The Monkey.
I love it.
I too have the same dilemma. TW200 seems like it makes the most sense (short legged guy here). That Trail 125 sure is cool though!
Hello, can I ask you how much did you paid $ I'm really want to get me one of those Monkey. Thanks.
Around $5K us dollars out the door...
Great 👍 Thank you.
I want to know how the gearbox setup if it is one done and the next four up
One down, four up
LOL!! I want one too!!!

Good morning. Thank you for the kind words and support. I'm 5' 8" and weigh around 195
What is the max speed on the monkey?
Don't know yet, I'm still in break in. I'm guessing 55

@@jiujitsu2000 It is 55 for me but i'm 200 lbs , just had mine out today first time this year , but i've had it since march 2021.

Skeet... Have you ever gotten lost on one of those roads?
Hello brotha, those roads are very fun. Never been lost. Hope you're doing good. Blessings from Arizona!
Not a big fan of the name like you are, sorry. It looks like a Honda Mini-Trail on steroids. haha.
You don't like to Monkey around once in awhile ?
@@joecamel6835 That all depends on your meaning. heh.
