Love this bike. I do the Tail of The Dragon as much as I can with mine. After being barely able to keep up with a kid on a Husqv 701 Supermoto, I began to search for improvements. I decided to dis my beautiful fluo-red stock wheels for lighter ones, and also install a 520 chain and sprocket. Improved it's nimbleness tremendously. I'm ready for that kid next time.
You just can't beat that proper v4 soundtrack, I've got a much older one 1000 v4 2014,I'm not interested in another make, I'm totally hooked on Aprilia.
Just joined the Tuono club a couple of weeks ago (2021 model) and I am loving it. I had an MT-10SP (2021) but this feels like a more refined package, I guess you get what you pay for. Great videos and nice to see you riding around Auckland area instead of watching people ride around the English countryside!
V4 sounds as close to motogp as it can get on the road speck motorbike. Great stuff 👍
It that engine, obviously not the fastest, but the soundtrack just can't be beaten, even deeper bark than a R1/MT10, I'm totally with you, I've had older R1s, zx10r, Fireblade, none of them put a smile on my face like the tuono, v4 forever.

V4 always sounds amazing.a bit shame that frame's got covered up,totally love how the frame and swingarm just makes the whole bike looks more classic.
Lovely bike and good review/mods, I owned a 2011 APRC tuono which had to give up for my licenses sake 😂 Love the covers on the frame, reminds me of the carbon2race frame cover I had on mine. Looked badass! Will definitely be getting either the 21/22 model.
A list of your mods and manufacturers would be great. Nice bike. I love the black seat versus the stock color!
I love love love the Tuono. Maybe someday I’ll pull the trigger and sell my Suzuki. The modest cosmetic mods you did are perfect. Less is more. 👌
Hey there, fellow Aucklander here, am looking at the Tuono V4 Factory and Street Fighter V4. I too love the look of the SF better, it just commands attention, but my heart says Tuono. I actually prefer the look of the previous gen Tuono, they’re just hard to find. Don’t mind the look of this gen, and definitely liking the upgraded tech. Btw, great vid, keep it up, subscribed👍
Just stumbled on your channel, coming from your photography channel. Awesome to see the Tuono, it’s funny cause a couple of months ago I purchased a new ‘baby’ Tuono 660 and I’m loving it!

Hi I just have bought 2023 tuono v4 factory. Absolutely nice bike. I wonder what you observe temperature on the screen when you stop at the traffic. I usually observe 90-102 celcius and a bit worried about that. Should I?

Nice mods I have the 21 same seat same reason lol , I have the standard screen from the non factory seams much better than the standard mini one . I’ll need new tyres soon I’m thinking of the same as you how do they perform ( & in the wet) ? , I got court out in the rain on the supercourser’s was a frightening ride lol . Have subscribed for more videos from here in the UK 👍🏍🎉

What about exhaust and engine mapping? Did you lose the warranty? I recently crashed my R1 2020 and looking to buy Tuono Factory. Still not sure about the warranty thing with the new exhaust.

I have the 2021 model in Brisbane, Aus. Where did you get your muffler? I am trying to find one and I don't seem to find reliable info. I see and hear yours, and that is what I am after. Cheers on the great bike
I think I may have met you a while back when we went for a ride with the Italian Motorcycles Owners Club. I remember your bike as it stood out with the black seat, and you’d swapped to the Power 5’s. I was on an 848 with black tail and gold rims. You said you were a photographer by trade if I remember correctly?

It's great that I came across your video. I live in Texas and bought my '24 Touno Factory from AF1, in Austin Tx, and they're pretty cool. Watching your video affirmed I made the right choice. There's a couple of Aprilia dealers in my city but they're kinda sketch in Houston. @ AF1 I tested the RSV4 and it was cool. But when I got on the Tuono, I don't think I ever had a bigger smile. Just something about these bikes. Have another 100 miles till the break-in is complete and I'm going to have AF1 service it and put an exhaust on it. Just not sure which exhaust to get the short SC or the big Ackro?
The Short SC is f@@king loud haha I reckon it’s too much for lots of riding but I’m 40 and can’t deal with that anymore
@captain_midlife haha yeah I "hear" ya. I'm in that mid-life group myself and I don't wanna piss off the neighbors anymore than normal.
@dtiger3326 the Akra with the baffle out is plenty loud honestly. Sounds like a weapon

Did you remap the ECU or just hot swap the exhaust and hope for the best? Previous bikes I’ve had you didn’t have to do anything ecu wise

I dig it man! I've got some similar mods on mine. Looks very clean. Do you notice any difference in seat height between the stock seat and the sport gel? I have one coming in.
I have 21 Tuono and did the same thing and I would say I didn't notice any difference in seat height really. There may be a difference but it's so minute you don't notice it

How did you mount the tank bag? Do you have a link of the ring to buy for the tank bag
If you go to the SW Motech site you can put your bike year and model in and it’ll tell you which one.
A quick question was inspired by your mods on your video, so I also bought the Oxford mirrors (Horizon) and just tried fitting them and can't get them to go on? Tried just swapping the screws over without the spacer and bushes but didn't work, then tried both expanding bushes..1 is too small and other only fits half way in. Please could you tell me how you got yours to fit? Many thanks
I used the factory bar insert and just screwed them in. You know what I mean?
I just bought this a few day's ago, I'm a little concerned that the dealer told me that Aprilia will void the warranty if I change the exhaust or modified the ECU. I had 2 RSV4's and never heard of this.
It seems to depend on the dealer eh. My dealer said it would be sweet but I’ve heard others say it wouldn’t.
Nice looking bike. I've done some similar mods to my '21 Factory. Love the black vinyl wrap on the frame. I've been thinking of getting carbon fiber covers to do the same but obviously that is a lot more money. Wish they would have just made the frame black. Completely changes the look of the bike.
Tuono v4 factory sounds better and has more midrange grunt the the Streetfighter ✊🔥🔥

Its not a shift light it’s for the radar detector

I have seen lots of people on forums complaining that these 2022 tuonos overheat in traffic. How has yours gone?
It’s gets warm for sure but it’s never overheated or gotten hot enough to throw a warning. I’m in NZ also so temps are never really getting above 30-35 in summer
@@captain_midlifeget stuck in a traffic jam and then tell me. Fans come on and temps still rise. Lost money but unloaded my 2023 quick

Hey man nice video and bike. How are the Evotech levers? I am thinking of getting them, the OEM ones are a bit rubbish. I like what you have done with the bike, I was thinking of getting the Akraprovic carbon hanger for the exhaust until I saw the price I think the Evotech hanger looks good, does it come with the kit to blank off the rear pegs?
Yeah levers are good mate. And yep hanger comes with the blanking plate also.

I’ve had a ton of bikes eh, too many to list lol. But yeah you’ll find the Tuono is much quicker than the MT10

what difference did the 25mm bar risers make? any problems with the brake or clutch cables?
Made it a little less wristy, more comfortable. Nah it clears the cables. I made a video on it if you look on the channel
