First try and get this feature enabled with your local dealer, if not then you’ll have to buy an OBD2 toll to enable it yourself. You’ll also get access to other features as well like turning off that annoying seatbelt chime when you’re just moving your car around the lot! 😂

You can also activate this feature with your dealer. If they try to deny you then bring your owner’s manual and show them page 89. If they still deny you like they did with me just get an obd2 scanner linked in the description to do it yourself. Hope this helps!
Where did you get your front plate mount? I'm looking for one that lets me mount it on the left side tooo
@@darkest_matter_ i got it fabricated by my coworker’s husband. She had her husband make it because she said license plate on the windshield is rice 😂. It’s just metal that has 2 holes and screwed into the 2 holes on the crash bar, from there it’s bent so a license plate can mount on it

My friend is a master tech at a dealership and he enable this windows down feature on my 2023 Corolla GR Core
Nice. I was able to unlock that remote window roll down feature and turn off the seatbelt chime with my Carista ODB2 scanner on my normal Corolla SE.

Thats what i’m saying, most cars have it but the gr corolla doesn’t out the box which is dumb. The dealer didnt even mention anything about it either

This is not a feature,bro. This is an option for most if not all cars these days and i've had cars from 99 or 2000 with this option. The reason your car had it off is because the first buyer didn't pay for it and with these new cars today a lot of things/features/options are in the ECM but locked if you don't pay for them. So as i see it, your car didn't have it paid and all you did was to find it and unlock it for free.
It's not a hidden feature, it's just a cool option that wasn't paid but most, if not all newer cars have it!
Definitely not an option. I bought my car brand new and the dealer didn’t mention it. Did your dealership give you the option when you bought the car?
@@boiipauly i said it’s an option in most newer cars from new. I don’t know exactly in what package goes into or what goals your dealer has but that’s an option and like i said i had it even in cars from 2001.
I bought my car fully loaded with every package and option. Nothing included “remote control window functions”
