Lydia, I watch your channel for the gardening, antiquing, chickens etc., and it brings me joy. With the utmost respect and love - please stop explaining about your expensive purchases, and just show us - those who want to see, will watch; those who don't will just skip ahead. It's disheartening to hear you explain how hard you work to afford these - I'm an ER nurse - it's exhausting - physically, mentally and emotionally. I could work 2 lifetimes in my career and still not afford what you can, and I'm ok with that - just as long as you continue to take us in the garden with you!!!

First time commenter here - I'm a professional classical musician (also a die-hard ballet lover) and it's really heartwarming to see someone as genuinely excited as you are about ballet, and wonderfully, listening to the score! Just also wanted to say that whilst it's wonderful that you're finding a love for the arts and making an event out of going to a performance, perhaps mentioning that people can go and have just as cool an experience for genuinely great (low) prices as well might help spread your love for it? We're really struggling in the UK atm in the arts, and seeing someone with a platform like yours genuinely enthusing about going to see a ballet and listening to the score is just really great to see and makes it feel a little less hopeless! So, thank you!

I actually prefer the explanation; but that might be because it's my first time viewing. I appreciate knowing that background you came from. without knowing it, it's a little bit like, "wow. what a pleasant life luxury affords; at least in terms of prettiness and comfort." I, like anyone, enjoy nice and pretty and beautiful things - they make life enjoyable. But watching this is also a little hard because so much of life is much more serious for most people. It's a weird/hard thing to reconcile.

I NEVER comment on blogs but had to inform you that in the 1950s and 60s in America, pointed flats were Extremely popular. A very popular brand at one time were MIAs. Love your content!
Rothy's is another brand whose pointed flats are extremely popular in the US now! Well known for being a zero-waste, sustainable shoe.
We ladies still love our magazines.. I collect them... I pulled them out all the time and use them for recipes.. gardening tips... I also love coffee table books . That contain artwork and beautiful scenery from gorgeous places around the world that I will never get to go to😢.. nonetheless. Okay the blue sassy dress... Is the prettiest fitting dress I've ever seen you wear.. 10 out of 10

Not relevant to this video… however just wanted to let you know how inspiring you are. I get married next August and I remember watching your wedding videos the first time round and now I’ve just started re watching and all these years on I still can’t believe how beautiful your day was🤍
You were quite high up. I would have preferred to be down below so I could see them better. My daughter was in ballet from 3 years old until she was 15. She then decided she wanted to do something else. It was quite a bummer for me because my daughter was one of the tallest and longest ballerinas there. There were a lot of girls who were nasty to her because of this. Most of them were shorter and more chunky, so she and the 3 other girls like her were picked on. Anyways, she is now modeling for me which I love having her with me all the time.
The 4 seat boxes are Second Tier and there are 2 more levels of boxes ( including the Royal Box ) below them. I've had the same seat in the same box for my last 2 trips to the RAH - handy for the lift and the ladies loo !

Congratulations on the bag, the cray is absolutely stunning and i know you're right when you say it will be a workhorse bag for you with how much you love your other ones. Can you tell us which leather it's in? :) also love the choice of the warmer hardware. I recently bought my very first real leather-proper craftmanship-gonna be the daily true workhorse handbag and i love it so much. The blue dress is outstanding! If I had your body shape I would live in that, I think! I love the ballet. I attended a Swan Lake performace in Moscow a few years ago, which still presented the modified ending proposed by the Soviet Union, where they both survive. It was such a peculiar performace. Truly beautiful, though.
Do not justify your purchases. It's your money, you do what you want with it. I am not at the point of being able to afford those items, yet, but that doesn't bother me at all. I like watching people enjoy their life the way they like it.
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 years old. I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your friends! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don't want to spend so much money now, I have *gtdupe* bought the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

Hello the two of you, UK. Vancouver, BC here. I haven't been vlog'g muchly. Just happened to notice you dead-heading your beautiful roses. Then you moved on to de-weeding your patio area. TIP to share ... a spray bottle with l/4 full of 'clear' vinaiger, plus a 3 or 4 drops of liquid dish soap, cool water to the top. Give the weed area on patio a spray and voila! No back-breaking weed pulling. Hope you give it a go; it works. Love your vlogs & a congrates having your name posted "FRONT COVEER" no less, next to my favorite... The Peoples Princess still. BRAVO girl!

Perfumes have so many toxic chemicals unless you buy highest quality which I'm sure she is doing now.
