I know you guys go to so many beautiful locations and houses and you often talk about what you want for your future home. But please don’t forget what you already have, your house is so spectacular, you’ve done an amazing job with it. Not every place you go to is actually better. What you have is incredible already 😊

I loved the contrast and Burgundy, is one of my staples for Winter. Now I’m definitely going to try my shoes and bag with white in the summer months. thank you for showing us both tan and burgundy vibes. I wear tan an awful lot and sometimes I like to up the anti with my wardrobe choices. You have me inspired to try new two-colour combo’s. ❤

Lydia, I just love your try-on videos; it's lovely to have it as a segment of the larger video. The fabric of the patterned dress is gorgeous, but I don't think the bodice and neckline do you any favors unfortunately. I definitely preferred the fit of the Emilia Wickstead gown. Very excited to see the 85 heel height on - those are ones I've had my eyes on as a compromise from the days of stiletto madness! Hope you had a fantastic time in France! It looks amazing.

The first dress is just beautiful. I always think you look best in clean and classic lines. The structure flatters your figure perfectly.
As beautiful as the other dress was it just seemed like too much for you. You seemed to be drowning in all the fabric and busyness of the dress.

Hi Lydia :) French follower here. The little patisserie that you were eating during tea time is a "Cannelé". Very famous in France, it comes from Bordeaux. Pretty sure you can find the recipe in your Thermomix. But you need the appropriate loaf tin.
Absolutely beautiful the French holiday house!! The inside, the grounds, the artwork on the walls, the food, everything!! What a treat to be able to stay there and enjoy the scenery & house! Lydia the fancy long halter neck dress did look a bit bulky on the top half. As you said needs a slight adjustment. You picked the correct shoes to keep. Although they were all very nice.

I like your wows because you are just being authentic. It’s so sad to hear a content creator have to apologize for just being themselves. If it were fake, it would be different but authenticity shouldn’t be criticized.
I've been to St. Emilion. It was lovely. Saw probably one of the most stunning men I have ever seen in my life. When I got back to my group I heard the other men talking about him. They were stunned too! I was amazed how the town has grown out of the ruins of the Abbey. Did a very nice wine tasting there too in a local shop.

The time you spent validating the charm, art work, details of this quaint property couldn’t have been better. The bathroom vanity’s were something else. Bath is a dream. This is a romantic place ❤❤

I agree re the Giambattista Valli dress, I think it was too bulky on the top and the bow at the tummy just wasn’t flattering, definitely the right decision to send it back. You are gorgeous and have so many things you already own which are a million times nicer than that. Love the Gianvito Rossi slingbacks and the Loubs! Also right to send all the various strappy options back, just not quite right. I have that with my toes too, my little toes are often making a bid for freedom, or their own adventure 😂
The fortified french town is just lovely with lovely wine too! Loved visiting there many years ago.❤

As a French person who lived in Bordeaux for 5 years, I am so happy that you loved our beautiful region as much as I do ! Still trying to figure if I would rather buy a house in Provence (a mas) or a little chateau in the Bordeaux countryside !

Right before you showed us the white shoes, I was going to ask you about your opinion on white shoes. I loved the dress. The white bow. Love the sling backs! Loved the haul!
Saint Emilion could not have been better! Exquisite views oh how I can imagine calling this home my goodness! The cellars the fabricated refrigerator the stone sinks were awe inspiring to say the least! The willpower must have been very strong as I too am now on the hunt for a lavender linen bag how lovely! I may need to take the design to a seamstress to recreate one should I not be able to find one online….just too good to resist not having one! Unfortunately the gorgeous dress does not provide you with the best fit and even tailoring it may not create the best look dare I say the gown with the low bow creates too much fabric to showcase a cinched waist which you take pride in showcasing as you should! I agree on the return of the strapped sandals square toe provides for a wider toe base though they can lead towards a trendy style vs classic perhaps designing your own version would be lovely! Thank you for sharing this lovely trip! 🥂🪻

I agree with the other comments the dress with the bow say no to the dress and yes to the plain white dress. Send the strap shoes back they somehow shorten the leg length and give the illusion of wider feet. 😊

Just spent a week in Provence. Needless to say i am in LOVE. For me it the limestone and simple fabrics. Leaving the art and accessories to take center stage. What is it about the light in France??? It must have to do with its geographical location because the light there is like none other. I’m a true Francophile being 1/2 French but i have to say i adore England as well. What a great trip. It’s def on my bucket list now! ❤❤ vive la France 🇫🇷

I have to say after watching your Highclere vlog ….… I think the journey you have now chosen on social media as an influencer has changed dramatically, it feels like you have now found your niche, and in my mind a large percent is no longer a generic influencer, instead it seems like a different vlog, introducing us to some lovely and inspiring parts of life which can mostly be achieved from whatever background you come from. Not everything is about money, sometimes these little insights into ways to improve our being is as interesting as the next dress to buy !! Both lovely vlogs Lydia 🎉❤. He performed "Either Way" on the show. He was never a contestant on those type of shows. He moved to Nashville, where he started as a songwriter. Side note, imagine if he were on one of those shows... would of blew the doors off! Amazing performer, singer songwriter.

Lydia, I enjoyed this very much!! I have not been to Bordeaux. It looks so quaint and special. The Chateau was amazing. ( I have the silverware. It believe it is Christofle . I bought my " Marly" in Paris and Chestnut Hill Massachusetts. I use it every day). Years ago when my husband and I were still flying we went to the Loire Valley and stayed at Chateau de Pray. Bordeaux looks much nicer in my opinion. My Uncle had a home in the south of France near Avignon for 20 years and It got so unbearably hot there. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Funny, I know the Elizabeth W essential oil and potpourri products. I live in N California. I’ve had the drawer mat in the past. T-paper roll holder is probably a special order. I never saw that before. I’ve used inexpensive, zipped coin pouches to fill with potpourri or lavender, and I like to place it in my luggage.
I hope you 2 enjoy some time away, without “us”. 😉
