I feel like watercolor galaxies always look weird and "not right" until they're completely dry and done. So to all people trying this - don't give up, just continue and don't forget the stars. :) Love all three of them!
Beautiful!! Thank you for acknowledging that Father's Day can bring up strange feelings for people, that it's not necessarily a straightforward holiday. And even if it is, sometimes the cards in the store are cloyingly sweet or use gross-out humor, and usually that's not at all the vibe I am going for! Brilliant. I don't know why I assumed that I needed the entire card to be made of watercolor paper. The craft paper cards look fabulous, and I already have that to make my own craft paper card, to put the art on top. Thanks for sharing so many creative ideas!!
I lost my dad when I was 18, but I'll definitely paint one of these for my husband from our little girls. He's a nature lover. Thanks for another great video Emma!
If you wet the paper 3 times - letting it dry a slight bit in between - your paper will stay wet longer because the layers of water take longer to dry. Nice cards. So personal as a gift.
Mixing the white on the cap is so smart! I've struggled to figure out how/where to mix water with it, and this feels like such a simple (and obvious) solution.
I have the same issue in Father’s Day-dad awkwardness 😳 I still give him a card, but sometimes I feel like writing “you’re a dad” on copy paper and calling it a day 😆 These are really great ideas for a neutral card. Lovely, thoughtful, but not proclaiming anything, which is perfect. Thank you!
Try using the heat gun on the tape before removing the tape. I have seen other artists do this to help loosen the tape. I do plan on painting these and giving one to my stepdad.
Love this cards Emma! I will have to make some cards too 😀😊 I'm sorry you didn't have a father figure in your life... and I agree that fathers are all different and it's dificult to make some universal card.. I will try to find something like that. Those cards are super easy and very beautiful 😍😍😍 galaxy is my favorite! have a wonderful day! 💖 Marija 😊💖
really nice cards for a Dad Emma. I often stick the tape gently on my jeans to take some of thee sticky off then it's easier to remove hope you don't mind me saying . thank you for sharing
These are lovely, Emma! My dad is no longer living, but these are great card ideas for my brothers. Do you like the Craftamo Paper compared to Arches and Etchr Lab"s paper?
Hi can anyone help. I Really wanted to try the forest scene, in the colour Emma did. My problem is I can’t find the purleen green colour (my spelling might be totally wrong) Does anyone who were to buy it?
It is so refreshing to see Father's Day cards that don't have ties and golf. Thank-you for this, I love your ideas.
Love all three!!!

Very nice. These look quite special and yet you make it look doable for the artistically intimidated.

It doesn’t compare to the high quality papers. But it’s fine for practice paper! Way better than canson xl!
Is there a link for the paper?
Great job and variety! Do you mind sharing which metallic palette you used for the borders? Thanks for sharing your creativity!
It’s from Etchrlab.com
I’ve noticed a few people that I follow do challenges and I’m wondering what your thoughts are?
What kind of challenges?
@@EmmaLefebvre Perhaps challenges on the drills, tutorials, etc. that you have done?

Perylene green :)
