The Refomatted line had some amazing pieces. Served that fanbase looking for that idw flavor. If it's goodbye for this line I say thankyou ,and well done!

If you still have the Planet X Ismenios (Not Deathsaurus), I would love to see a comparison between the two. Both of them seem to be pretty good and the price is comparable as well.
Been HEAVILY following both this and the Planet X offering, but I think MMC is the way to go now. I can't get over that head sculpt and paint. I think attaching the wings is a bit silly, but given how thin the wing blades are, I'd imagine choosing to ship them separately rather than attached is probably for the best given the only option is a larger box which leads to unnecessarily higher shipping costs for a bunch of extra box that isn't being used fully. Bandai keeps parts like these separate in their higher end mecha figure lines for the same reason.

The IDW MTMTE lore has so many characters that haven't received the MMC Reformatted treatment that if they keep on releasing them they would be able to release 4 or 5 a year for the next 5 years and I'm sure they would sell out on all of them. I have the D-Zef Continuum on pre-order so I can put him next to the Haslab Victory Saber and I'm so excited to get this figure in hand, MMC has been my favorite 3rd part company over the years
Mine broke. The right shoulder locking tab or button fell out of the box when I opened it. Then the other side fell apart as well. So 😡. Been waiting on replacement parts for a month now. Still no word yet. I was excited to get this and then this issue. Not happy. First time ive ever had a QC issue with this company. I think someone at show z opened mine and messed with the figure broke the buttons then reboxed and shipped to me because the seal was cut when it came. Still dealing with them on this issue.
Next time you get a figure with a broken seal, SEND IT BACK IMMEDIATELY. Its like buying a used condom marked as new, it's never gonna end well for you.

Strong figure. Having just had to lube a the complete gun assemblies and also 2 sets of hips for the cang razerclaw I'm ok with the wings needing to be screwed in.
I know this might be the last figure in the reformatted line but do you think the next line might continue making IDW characters? Also since they have done a Deathsaurus would they do a star saber? It would make sense to have one is to have the other but I guess they don't have too. I would like them too just to get another star saber figure (also the lion would be nice) but I know we have quit a few options for star saber right now. Planet X, Iron trans, MP Takara, and flame toys the sizes are different and the looks, but we do have those options.
MMC has continued to be one of my favorite 3rd Party Companies. They do quality figures, paint, sculpt, and their price is usually a value. I agree that the wings seem not well planned. I would be more worried about stripping the screw or the plastic than having to assemble the figure. I'm not an IDW guy, but I do like the styles of a lot of the figures. I am waiting for their "G1" styled Deathsaurus that is a retool of this figure. I have been waiting for that one almost as long as FansToys DeadEnd...lol. Do you plan to get that version as well or are you good with this one? They are also re-releaseing their MP Styled Skylynx. I don't remember seeing it being reviewed. I don't know if Skylynx is your thing, just wondering as I'd like to see your review of it. I am waiting for that figure as well. Enjoyed your review and I think this is the first time you said a Headsculpt was Perfect?
It seems fine. The robot mode looks pretty good but I don't care for the legs and the big arms. Speaking of legs, I also don't care for how fiddly they've made the alt mode legs - those armatures and little locks seem a bit flimsy, and the beast head transformation seems at odds with MMC's usual style. It's painted more than most MMC figures, though the diecast seems like an odd addition. I think Planet-X did a better job on the alt mode and overall proportions. It doesn't seem like you can really go wrong with either one, but if I get the chance, I'm still convinced the Planet-X one is overall better.
While I love these colors I much prefer Planet X’s take on this character. The proportions just work better for me and I think the chicken mode looks more intimidating and less goofy then this one. Still a strong release from MMC and I’m glad people can finally get this
Alt mode wise I like there’s more. Just here it still has the boxy legs of the G1 Deathsaurus. Where as his legs where more organic looking in the comics.
Agreed Nate. I had this version on preorder but cancelled it and ordered the Planet X version with the G1 upgrade. It’s still one of my fave transformers of all time, not without its issues but I just love it and prefer the overall look to MMC. It’s nice though that there’s choices to one of of the coolest looking characters from the franchise

I think it's probably the best headsculpt MMC have ever done. I love it.

The Reformatted line is not cancelled, but it will see less releases on a yearly basis, compared to before.
This is the last new mould for Reformatted but as you know we will keep making them repaints mack
