Tee Cummins is the kind of name that just sounds strong. Solid performance.

Those catch chains on the squat are such a great idea especially for the lifters that are hitting such big numbers!

When I saw a raw squat video, I expect to see wraps.
When I see a "raw no wraps" video, I wonder why they would do that. Do they think they get bonus points for not wearing them?

Uhm yeah, since knee wraps help you squat more weight to a significant extent.

David Ebbeke you do realize that powerlifters have been using wraps since before you were born, right? In fact, this no wrap bullshit is a recent phenomenon.

ishred Yes of course I realize that, but what has that do anything with it?
There is Raw federations out there who doesn't allow wraps in the raw class such as IPF, and then there is federations who do allow them as raw. And if you want proof that they help you squat more, just look at Dan Greens max squat with wraps and without wraps. Nearly 100lbs in difference. So yes, an 800lb squat without wraps is definitley "better" than an 800lb squat with wraps. It doesn't take a lot intelligens to figure that a tight as hell wrap gives you a shit ton more support than a sleeve does?

ishred And another example would be Derek Kendall who squatted 942lbs easy as hell in wraps and almost 1019 at Supertraining meet this summer. He squatted 881 in sleeves at Lances meet in October 18 this earlier this year. Boom, evidence that they help you.
So that clearly answers you question. "Do they think they get bonus points for not wearing them?"
I don't know why even brought up that powerlifters have used knee wraps for decades when that is completley irrelevant to your question?

ishred Raw with wraps is still raw. no one said that it isn't? And the wraps 20 years ago wasn't as supportive as they are these days.
