    I have both ( fully optioned here in the UAE ) and My preference long term goes to the Aeron, for back pain relief, finding instantly the right seating posture and pushing you to stay straight with no pain for a long period of time, I m 6ft4 230 pounds, Aeron works for me, with the Leap V2 ( leather with headrest) I find myself constantly trying to find the right adjustments and I don't know why the leapV2 doesn't keep me straight, just giving my feedback for undecisive people ( as I was before buying both of them at the end :) )

      Thanks for that info. How do you find the Aeron for leg splaying. I tend to find myself legs wide apart. It looks as if the Aeron may hurt due to the hard frame. Thanks.

      @@informedchoice2249 you can do it but in a very restricted way, point is to correct posture and keep the posture as ergonomic as it can be I think, not to find a balanced chair, better to try them in a store for a minimum of 15 min, I should add that I m not crazy in love about both of them, however the Aeron is the one that I feel helps getting me in the right posture, which is the point of these chairs, perhaps if you don't have any back pain and that your current seating posture is alright, the leap will feel more balanced

      I also have both. Had 3 Aerons for work and home over the years. I preferred the Aeron when I was overweight (6' 185-250). When I lost the weight (146-170 depending on fitness), it hurt my less-cushioned rear and legs. I tried the B size. It hurt less, and was still vastly better than a regular office chair, but then I tried the Leap. It felt a lot better. You can't beat sitting in them, as everyone's body is different.

    1st week with the aeron made me rethink, why all the praise. But then I got the headrest and it felt good. A headrest saved it. I will say, embody definitely has more freedom but the floaty feel of aeron is good. HM need to find a perfect hybrid of the two.

      A mix of the two would be very interesting. The "float" is amazing. - RG

    I know from other videos the complain in the Leap v2 is tailbone area. Does the BTOD refurb with the additonal bottom padding help that to where its even less of a complaint? im getting ready to order the btod refurb

    Great comparison. Could you review the new Sihoo c300? I think it would make a good video because the chair is pretty cheap and I wonder how it compares to other ergo chairs. Cheers!

    I see that you guys reply to questions here, so ill go ahead and ask one. If i have upper back and neck pain caused by a stiff back, what chair would best help me with this? Over long-term office work? Do i want something like a refurbished leap v2 or is there a similar priced chair option with better upper back support? I came back to add that im 6 ft 3 and 236 lbs (25 years old)

      I ended up buying a used leapv2 2016 from you guys, I hope it comes in good shape :x first thing I'ma do when it arrives is check out the staple work and check to ensure it was properly professionally steam cleaned as it claims it was. I know you guys claim to do good work in the RUclips video, but every company will talk themselves up. When my chair arrives I'll give a review on it.

    Every time I sit in my V1 Leap and every time I sit in my Embody I realize more and more the Leap deserves to be an S tier chair. The Aeron will forever be trash though. The Embody is weird, some days I think it's just ok and some days I love it so it stays for now.

    • @GraveeTEX
      @GraveeTEX 11 месяцев назад +3

      It comes down to personal preference in the end I think. Someone else will comment it's the other way around and that the Aeron is the S tier chair.

      @@informedchoice2249 When I had my Fern I wanted a headrest, with the Embody I plan to get a headrest but honestly with my Leap I never really wanted one, the way the live back moves you kind of don't need it. My Haworth Improve HE I never really felt like I needed a headrest either. I might get a V2 Leap with the bigger back to see how I like that, I imagine it will be even nicer than my V1.

      @@informedchoice2249The Leap is effortless, it just kind of moves with you and the armrests are awesome, only the Gesture has better armrests. The Embody just looks so cool though but like I said, depending on the day it’s either awesome or okay. A Leap with Gesture arms would be killer.
