  • Orthodox Jewish men are dancing traditionally at the wedding of Lieby and Roizy Breuer, a beautiful Hasidic Satmar Chasunah.
Watch as Moshe Lazer Saks holds a burning mic, bringing fiery energy to the celebration.
Enjoy the melodious tunes played by Burich Yida Gross, who presses the keys of the music so beautifully.
As fun as it is, Jewish dancing is not a modern-day phenomenon. In fact there are quotes in the ancient Talmud telling us that Rabbi Judah used to take a myrtle twig and dance before the bride, whilst Rabbi Aha took the Bride on his shoulders and danced with her. Rabbis are often very studious and serious individuals, but they know how important it is to dance for a couple, bringing them great joy on their big day.
The Torah commands Jewish people to: “Love your fellow as yourself; show cheerfulness and love to others on their most special day so they can be happy; and celebrate in their joy as though it was your own.” Each guest should dance with the same vigor as they would on their own wedding day, the same energy, the same enthusiasm, maybe even the same dodgy break-dancing moves.

I'm not an orthodox Hasidic Jew, so I don't know, but it would seem to me that there would be women/girls at this wedding. I saw one little girl at the very end. Where were the women?
