Honda Civic 2001-2005 Detailed Oil And Filter Change l EP1 EU7

In this video we are going to change oil and oil filter on 7th generation Honda Civic with D14Z6 engine. This 90 HP (66 kW) engine was found on 2001-2005 Honda Civic 1.4 LS (European market: EP1, EU4, EU7, ES4 fl, ES6).
Oil capacity is 3.2 liters and viscosity is 5w-30 but you also can use 5w-40, 10w-40 depending on your climate.

Why are you using 5w-40? I’m not one to shy away from thicker oils in my old cars I’m just curious why you chose that over 5w-20

My mechanic put 10w-40 in my ‘04 civic, said its recommended for older cars like mine 🤔
