I like the alternatives you found. I would also suggest the MCM reversible Liz shopper tote. It’s canvas, has a removable pouch & the medium one is less than $700.
I’ve been wanting a Louis Vuitton Neverfull for years, but never have pulled the trigger because I’ve reminded myself that there are so many ways to put that money to better and more practical use. But over the last few days, I’ve been getting a major itch to buy a new handbag. 😂 I used to be able to satisfy myself with more entry-level/contemporary designer stuff, but I haven’t been able to find anything from any of the usual suspects that is appealing to me. I had just about talked myself into making the leap for that LV Neverfull MM in Damier Azur…then I went to the LV site and saw the INSANE price increase! 🤯 I swear, the last time I was on the LV site (maybe 4-ish years ago) and really contemplating buying one, the price was around $1,200. And now it’s over $2,000. For freaking canvas! So thank you for this list! Might take a look at the YSL one. I also really love the look of the Cuyana bag, and I had never heard of that company before. That one is definitely under heavy consideration.
I stopped buying overpriced designer bags. Open up your eyes. There are many brands out therewith the same quality or EVEN BETTER, You pay premium price only for the brand. 95% markup. Choose WISE
I have the YSL shopper tote and I was trying to get an LV neverfull alternative. It was a great buy but my heart always wanted that LV so I ended it up with it in the coat end of 2019. Made in France. So I have decided I'm don't with LV and will and have moved on. I wanted a pochette accessorie but not for the current price. I feel like LV said Basic Where? With their price increases. Currently have 4 bags and a nice mini some slgs but I'm good. YSL has had my heart lately. And I an content with what I have for now. My suggestion if you can't let go then get it new so you can love that bag. And if you mind a little dinge then go prelove and save some cash
My neverfull was only $820 when I bought it. The pocket is fine, though, and it’s almost 11 years old. But I love a good tote and love 2 or 3 on this list. I used to have the Cuyana tote and I loved it but gave it to my niece eventually. It was too unstructured.
That’s interesting, thanks for the feedback! Did you use a purse insert with the Cuyana? I hear you on the longevity, mine was also under 1K when I bought it and it’s been more than 10 years! Maybe even 15 😳
@@LifewithMar I can’t quite remember if I used an insert. If I did, it wasn’t consistently. I still think it’s a great bag. The leather was thick and chewy and the color was so pretty (stone?). And they offer a more structure version now. They didn’t, when I bought mine. It was also only $175 when I bought it. But even $225 is a great price.

There is definitely a major shift happening with all of the crazy markups lately. I haven't bought a designer bag in at least a year now and am eyeing more mid-range brands which I hear are better quality anyway!
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Four out of 8 bags featured are high-end designer bags and the other 4 are entry-level designer. The title says they're alternatives, not that all are top-tier designer :)
Do you still love the LV Neverfull? What's your favorite alternative?

Great video! LV’s quality and price increase issues have me searching elsewhere. I’m glad you showed us bags I hadn’t seen or heard of before.
So happy it was helpful, Tracy!

I LOVE BRAHMIN BAGS. I HAVE ONE I HAVE CARRIED FOR 15 YEARS . IT IS STILL IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. THESE BAGS ARE GREAT
Thanks for the rec! I haven't tried Brahmin bags so good to know they hold their shape!
I just bought the Valentino Rockstud tote! It’s such a gorgeous bag! 😍 beautifully made as well…
That’s great to hear!
The price increases are crazy but if it lasts 15 years… it’s classic and timeless and an investment.
This is true!
I love the Neverfull bag so I love the dupes alternatives you've found! xo
So many great options!

Say that again so that it makes complete sense.
My neverfull is also like 12 years old and it is falling apart but i have worn it like every day
It really is a workhorse!

I like the review but the title is a Lil deceiving ...all the bags weren't high fashion designers some of them weren't even designer
