Best song on the album for sure. Sounds like a callback to their early hardcore roots 😄 Would be cool with more songs like this and less pop punk, still enjoyed the more mainstream songs of the record though. Kinda of a cool mix between their whole discography really.
I was in the lawn crowd for this show. Had to look this one up because i really hasn't listened to the latest album. The drummer (i forget his name but he's got a metal background), love how he incorporated the double kick drum live here hahaha
@@doomusrlc for sure. I'll be honest, I also had to listen multiple times to figure out whether it was indeed double bass or maybe a mix of toms and bass, just because double bass was essentially non existent in the offspring's catalog up to this point. I'm glad the quality of the studio allows it to sound this clear. Also I'm super happy to hear them play this song live, one of their best in a long while.
@@davisjohnson7691 that's pretty cool, I didn't know that about him. It's unfortunate they had to part ways with him before the tour started. He was initially replaced by Josh Freese (who recorded a few albums with offspring and is now currently on tour with the foo fighters) but I don't know who the current tour drummer is. He sounds pretty good though!
Hassan Chop!!!!!! So glad they’re finally playing it live
About time

They gotta play some Ignition
Well actually the solo goes back to their 1986 demo song Call it Religion
Hell ya!

Actually the double bass is in the studio version of the song, in the album. It was a really nice surprise!
@@sabanis seemed it was way more prevalent live, heh
