    Interesting stats that people who take the higher price challenges are more likely to pass. Why do you think that is? Maybe the more confident traders want to go for the bigger accounts straight away...

    • @Alexter6277
      @Alexter6277 3 года назад +4

      I think the reason is simple, If you are aiming for the higher accounts you are also putting more at risk for yourself so it's more likely that people will only do it when they feel ready and to be more disciplined in their challenge than lower amounts which have a lot of complete newbies trying to get funded quickly.

      seems a perfect answer from FTMO to be honest, that answer will just push more people to buy the bigger challenges. would like to actually see the data!! why not put £1000 into your own personal account and get way better spreads

    • @Alexter6277
      @Alexter6277 3 года назад

      @@J.T.33 I agree the answer is convenient for FTMO, but it also makes sense to me as I see people who have tried before or are more prepared will feel more comfortable to go for larger challenges.
      In my view as long as what they say is correct (eg. not misrepresenting the data) and we believe them, then that is good as they are just stating a fact from their stats.

      I've taken 25k, 50k, 100k & now 200k..the 200k is far easier to trade based on my personal trading style because I have more wiggle room to trade. I'd rather have a daily drawdown of 10k vs 1k

      and how many funded traders keep their accounts longer than two or three months without violating something and losing them?
      As soon as a really good trader comes along who earns $20,000 per month, some of these prop firms will go insolvent because they won't be able to actually pay them.
      Remember, none of these prop firms actually place live market orders with their funded accounts. Everything is demo. Payouts come from all of the money that gets donated to them via the failed challenges.

    I'm torn with the idea that the core of the business is to provide funding when most likely the core of their revenue is from challenge fees. I'm not questioning their intention and making money from that. But if the biggest source of money being generated isn't from the actual facilitation of funding and profit shares, then it seems like a smoke and mirrors statement. No shade is being thrown at them. I think what they doing is great, and helped me massively when I got funded. But feel it was all positive and didn't look at the more realistic stuff that happens.

    • @justinholtgrave

    On one hand, I greatly appreciate ¨real¨ people instead of over-produced social media nutt heads.
    On the other hand, you have consistenly mentioned a) that you are a greatly profitable trader for years b) then attempt to sell courses etc to ¨become YOU¨. (which failed). .I like you Etienne but feel you are lost. Delete this comment, as you have done with many negative feedback- I have a screen shot.
