The only thing that seriously kills this device is the delay. You press or swipe and it takes an actual second for it to do the action.
Its a great device don't get me wrong. GSkill just needs to deal with the device action delay. It doesn't feel instant.
This demonstration appears to show that the responsiveness suffers extreme lag, like hundreds of milliseconds after touching the screen.
Why does that matter? looks like it works fine
@@jonny2085 Doesn't really matter that much sure but it can make a device feel unresponsive. If it was down to 50-100ms lag then it would feel much snappier to use imo.
cheap chipset, part of aggressive pricing.
Looks pretty quick to me…. At least the button presses had quick responses. Maybe changing apps? Spotify was slow, but I wouldn’t use it anyway.
Is also way cheaper they a similar sized elgato
spoiler alert ! it sucks. I have one and i stopped using it. I just put my aida 64 on a rasberry pi display and it works 1000 times better than that piece of crap. Waste of 100 dollars
Disagree...can get additional functionality for when I use it, but pretty much use it for AIDA64. Price of the unit and being USB instead of HDMI with decent off-angle viewing? You are already spending that much for a crappy Pi/Amazon 7" touch screen anyway. Difference is at most $20. And this will probably last longer and almost certainly run cooler.
I regret selling my ipad, could have been my stream companion like this.
No no no dont regret , this is a good thing , now you have less heresy in your house
OK, and why use this over a $10 app like Touch Portal that turns any tablet (Cheap Fire 10 incher is my fave) into the same thing...with added features
I had this thing for two weeks . It was a hot mess constant crases. The display looks great but needs mkre time to bake imo. I tried to intergrate it with AIDA64 and when it worked it was really cool and exactly what i was looking for when it worked.
I see absolutely 0 reasons why anyone would get this over an Elgato stream deck
Yep, I don't stream and game on a tv in the linving room, I have a stream deck for just macros and system info
WHAT? Chris Pirillo works for UFD now?
ok... glad i wasnt the only one who caught that
Interesting device, I don't see myself using it on my workflow but for steak or control in general is nice
I honestly just prefer the Ajazz Akp153. The responsiveness of that screen is poor, and tbh i have 2 screens. All i want is a smart shortcut macro pad for Spotify, but I'm not paying for the elgato stream deck. Still saving up for the Ajazz
...who decided pastel Windows 8 was a good visual theme for this?
I heard about this product a few months ago when it was announced and it looks really interesting if the response time and control software is good.
Will it work with game glass?
I can think of some great applications for this.. but I'm worried it might create some conflicts with my WaveXLR and Stream Deck +.
Been looking for something like this, maybe its a good option in a year, unless elgato makes an equivalent
This device has potential for sure
Is there/will there be mac support?
Great video, Kyler! I kinda want one now.
I knew I saw a WigiDash at Kylers setup in one of the other videos. So jelly. I want one so bad but the price is just absurd. The monitor this browser window is on was two thirds the price of the WigiDash and 24 freaking inches.
oh and plus they only seem to have it on Amazon so even if I wanted to spend that much, there's no where I'm willing to buy from.
notice how the buttons, dont "react" when pressed, so i have no i dea if it worked. and no haptic.
I loved the ending. lol
A colour e-ink version of this would be dope
so its a stream deck, but 100% screen instead of physical buttons and knobs.......dunno how i feel about that one
Cool stuff
Helldrivers2 players would love this.
elgato stream deck alternative?
So basically their own stream deck?
Hiiiiii Kyyyyyleee mmmmhmmmh mmmm lol
Basically much better than streamdeck
@@Patrick-vx2ks Prolly cheaper too.
@RAM_845 yea it is at least where im from, but ill wait till the software is more polished and the market has more stuff
@@Patrick-vx2ks Even with more refined software, you'll likely be waiting for a hardware revision as well
@@xaytana maybe like it depends how long it will take for said revision to arrive lol
Would rather have real buttons. I would say good review, but seems more like overview.
the interface is horrible you can make something better by getting LCD yourself in amazon
Spoiler alert! Only has drivers for Windows. No Mac nor Linux.
You can just use your existing devices to view and remote your desktop, don't make E-wastes.
It could be great, but the software is terrible. They need to hire somebody to make software with a good interface.
wow this is just trying too hard to sell garbage
Trash
So I can use this to call in 500KG bombs in Helldivers 2 and thumb through my Vietnam-era playlist without using ALT-TAB?
