    I think the „node“ you were talking about is an auxiliary point and the node is where the leaf comes out of on the monstera but there’s always an auxiliary Pont on a node

    • @GracesHouseOfPlants
      @GracesHouseOfPlants  3 года назад

      Ah - sorry to hear this, Monstera can be super fickle and rot very easily! the propagations had a 70% achievement rate, some got root rot similar to yours unfortunately and I couldn't help her as I was away on vacation 😢 but the other cuttings have gone to friends and family and are doing super well!!! Thank you for your support 🌱❤️ did your cuttings recover from the root rot?

      @@GracesHouseOfPlants Yes, the albo cuttings recovered, but what really helped was a grow tent.

    • @ocbojm
      @ocbojm Год назад

      the reason she failed is that those cutting with only aerial roots need to develop water roots before you put to soil less medium like leca.. she should air layer it first.. In the story she had one survivor, that is the plant she put first in water to develop water roots.. The rest failed coz she put directly to leca.

      Hey lovely! Thank you for the kindness on my vid! I purchased this one in September 2020 for £350. It was the exact size it is in the vid when I bought it literally didn't give me any new leaves whilst I had her as a full plant, so sad, hence my decision to propagate her! I have some on my site atm and a few more coming over the next few weeks if you are needing one! They are such gorgeous plants 😍

      Hi Wolfie, Leca is concrete balls you can use instead of soil. "Lightweight expanded clay aggregate" When you're using , rather , you'll be much less likely to have to deal with pests. This is because of the simple fact that roots are less prone to root rot in they are in the .
