Hi Grace! I've been searching for a video regarding propagating a Monstera Albo. I finally found yours! I say "finally" because it's the best one out there! You did a superb job explaining everything! Please do an update on these lovely plants........
Thank you Diana! I really appreciate your kind words and I’m super pleased my video helped you so much!
Love this beauty i just buy this in my edition also
Nice!
Hey great video. Any chance I can get a node cutting please 🙈I love these plants. But can’t find the right kinda variegation. Your plant looks amazing
Mantap..
Hi, what is the name of that Waxi things on the bottom and where can you get it from?
Thank youuu for your comment ❤️ So these are made by me by lighting a candle and dipping the dried end in wax, it protects it from rot 🙂🙂🙂
I think the „node“ you were talking about is an auxiliary point and the node is where the leaf comes out of on the monstera but there’s always an auxiliary Pont on a node
Yes spot on! I often mix up the terminology! Thanks for the correction 👍
I had to purge all your videos while doing my nails after watching this video lol! All your plants are beautiful! I would have the same reaction cutting an albo, you should do an update with all the propagations!
Thank you Journie! Love doing that - I often get a queue of videos ready whilst I do my nails too haha! Thank you for your kind words.. I am planning on doing a reveal video for the propped babies.. I have some tea to spill.. not all of it went to plan 🤔😨

Thank you for your support 🌱❤️

Wow that's my wish plant ..but it's to expensive....
It’s such a beauty isn’t it 🥰
Hi, do you have any updates on that? When I transferred from soil mix to leca, my variegated monstera's roots initially rotted.
Ah - sorry to hear this, Monstera can be super fickle and rot very easily! the propagations had a 70% achievement rate, some got root rot similar to yours unfortunately and I couldn't help her as I was away on vacation 😢 but the other cuttings have gone to friends and family and are doing super well!!! Thank you for your support 🌱❤️ did your cuttings recover from the root rot?
Here is the video of what happened to those cuttings! :O ruclips.net/video/EvJY41Dd2hM/видео.html Thank you for your support! ❤️🌿❤️🌿
@@GracesHouseOfPlants Yes, the albo cuttings recovered, but what really helped was a grow tent.
the reason she failed is that those cutting with only aerial roots need to develop water roots before you put to soil less medium like leca.. she should air layer it first.. In the story she had one survivor, that is the plant she put first in water to develop water roots.. The rest failed coz she put directly to leca.
Fantastic plant! Any updates?
Thanks so much Randolph!!!! yes so the propagations had a 70% achievement rate, some got root rot unfortunately and I couldn't help them as I was away on vacation 😢 but the other cuttings have gone to friends and family and are doing super well!!! Thank you for your support 🌱❤️
ive been looking to get this plant but theyre all so expensive, how much was this one and how big was it when u bought it? love the vid btw!
Hey lovely! Thank you for the kindness on my vid! I purchased this one in September 2020 for £350. It was the exact size it is in the vid when I bought it literally didn't give me any new leaves whilst I had her as a full plant, so sad, hence my decision to propagate her! I have some on my site atm and a few more coming over the next few weeks if you are needing one! They are such gorgeous plants 😍
@@GracesHouseOfPlants oh wow okay thanks! yeah definitely i’ll check out your shop now!
What's lacquer Grace? Where do you get it?
Hi Wolfie, Leca is concrete balls you can use instead of soil. "Lightweight expanded clay aggregate" When you're using , rather , you'll be much less likely to have to deal with pests. This is because of the simple fact that roots are less prone to root rot in they are in the .
Is This deliciosa or Borsigiana?
I’m not sure actually! I would say deliciosa 🙂but not 100% sure.
私も斑入りモンステラを育てています。
あなたが、切った茎の切り口に、塗った薬品のようなものは何か、知りたいです。
Hello I like monstera
I cannot speak English
What is painted on the cut surface
I want to know
Thank you
I like monstera too! I use wax to paint onto the cut surface to prevent water seeping in which usually prevents root rot! :)
Wow she’s Beautiful, I’m barely getting into plants and when I saw this type and looked it up, I didn’t know how popular it was. I don’t think if I will ever own one because they are so expensive, but you have a Beauty.. 🪴 Have a Blessed Day, I just subbed to you. XoXo Letty
They are pretty damn awesome 🥰 Thank you for your support! Have a lovely day!
