WITH THE PADDLES THE SAME HEIGHT AS THE BOTTOM OF THE BOAT EVEN IF YOU HAD 100 HP YOU'D NEVER GET IT UP ON PLANE, IT WOULD LIFT THE PADDLES OUT OF THE WATTER THATS WHY THE MAJORITY OF BOAT ENGINES LOWER UNITS ARE BELOW THE BOAT, EXCEPT FOR JET AN A FEW OTHE PROPULTION DRIVES. STILL AWESOME EITHER WAY A DAY IN THE GARAGE OR ON THE WATER IS A GREAT DAY KEEP IT UP BOYS!!.
Don't know how effective it would be for piracy would be faster if you used the exhaust for propulsion but could be used as a distraction while pirate crew sneaks up from behind
TURN IT INTOO ONE OF THEM LONG TAIL MUD MOTORS LIKE ON CB MEDIA (PRE-PAIR TO SEE WHAT WARP SPEED AN A 4 CYCLINDER TOYATO MOTOR CAN DO). IT BLEW MY MIND ON WHAT A LONG TAIL MOTOR AN BOAT STYLE CAN DO! IT IS CRAZY!!!!. AN YOU GUYS WOULD MAKE A GREAT ONE!.
Really cool idea but terrifying execution.. and I don't mean the chain drive. She's so low in the bow that the waves from a rock being thrown in the world could swamp her! Zoffinger did want a couple years ago and hung a small outboard off the back, it was sketchy AF but it looked a little more seaworthy than this one.. I mean use that same little motor and make a mud motor come off the back. Front wheel drive barely works for cars now drive definitely doesn't work for boats.... It does look a little better with only one person on it.. of course I'm the size of two of you so.....

That propeller was so NOT hydrodynamic, each blade reassembles a bucket, it traps the water instead of flowing properly. Sick project tho haha
