Been watching your vids for years! Tip: in NC/ND, If you have trouble getting into 1st gear, you could be having quite a bit of clutch drag. I suggest bleeding the clutch fluid often (or at least change what's in the reservoir as it does circulate). Also, adjust the clutch master at the pedal to remove excessive freeplay at the top of the pedal-- all this will give you much better shifting qualities, and better car control (yes) when shifting in corners at the limit.
hey zent hows it going? ive been a sub since you did the speakers in your e46 and ive got a question. i recently came into a good chunk of change and im wondering what some good moves with it are? single, no kids, no debt, no house as i like to travel often. thanks!
cheap cars driven hard are the best aren't they? I have a v6 mr2... I could get a Porsche or lotus emira...I have no desire though. I just realized the mr2 isn't cheap anymore :/
Sweet. I wish I would have picked up an mr2 back when I used to window shop them in the early 2000s... of a few.. and some nice Integras too, haha... investments! Also wish I never sold my fixed up (mechanically)/swapped 4th gen Prelude... I do love my NC1 though, and the E46 is alright... just miss those raw VTEC runs, haha.
@@ZentRose I even posted it as a reply here and it disappeared... on the longer comment that I (got smart enough to) copy and pasted just after this the only thing I did differently was take out the word "dot" in reference to the forum... like it was not even a hyperlink, so that's pretty harsh on youtube's part if that is what did it, haha.

Yeah that can definitely cause it. It went away after a few miles with fresh Ford synthetic mtf

If no debt and you are set up for retirement, it's ok to spend the money on things you enjoy!
Any recommendations for cheap enthusiast cars now in 2024? Seems like prices increased on the NC Miata a good bit.
If you can find an NC with a blown engine, you can swap in a 2.5 very cheap and have a great, fun toy.
Any word on your Prius?
I put about 12k miles so far on the new JDM engine I swapped in. I'll post about the car soon

That's the problem. Once they get an enthusiast following, they stop being cheap.

@@RyuMoto Right? I think our NCs are the cheap generation currently! Maybe wait til the price peaks, sell, and grab a nice ND2/3!?
