    Trent was never coming here to not start. He saw that open shooting guard spot left open by Beasley. Its common sense stop letting Irwin blow smoke up yall you know what.

    I’m fine with them no promising jobs. They did that with Dennis and Drummond and it blew up in their faces. If you criticized it then, don’t criticize when they do the right thing now.

    You'll notice that the Bucks didn't need to give GTJ a player option for a 2nd yr...

      Yes because Trent isn't a minimum player. He wants to up his value and then sign for 10 mill next summer. Reddish, Hayes, and Wood are all minimum players

    The Bucks also had the extra benefit of having Damien Lillard on their roaster, he helped recruit Gary Trent Jr. To the Bucks

    They did not even bother creating a roster spot to add someone new. This is the roster period.

    Labron has destroyed the Lakers. Then the ownership has no idea what she doing. Look at who she has hired. 8m to la bron son? You can’t make this stuff up

      Brilliant. What were the Lakers winning with Randle, Lonzo, Ingram and the rest? Lebron got them a ring, a West Conference Final and two more playoff seasons. It's not his fault the front office is terrible.

    It’s crazy that most people could’ve rebuilt this roster with what the Lakers were given this year. Their simple failure of asset management is astonishing. They miss on Jonas for a contract that is cheaper than the MLE to the WIZARDS. That’s a 10-12.9 million dollar back up center/ tradeable contract that you could’ve gotten for FREE. You also didn’t have the foresight to try and partner with LeBron to see hey we can’t get those top 3 guys on your list but we still can split the MLE and get two players (GTJ and Drummond for example) All this is done by moving 2ndRP to get off Minimums They want to hold tight to these FRP til the deadline fine. How do you have potential starters / top rotation players going for the minimum/tpmle and you just sit idle.

    • @icecoldac3
      @icecoldac3 Месяц назад

      It’s not a failure to them (Lakers ownership and front office). They’ve prioritized youth and future assets. To us it looks like they’ve made no moves to them their position for post Lebron/AD era.

    • @Shoeperfreak31
      @Shoeperfreak31 Месяц назад +1

      @@icecoldac3That’s idiotic especially since you got Reaves on a discount for 2 more years. Then when you look at the team after who do they have for this youth movement. GTJ is 25

    • @icecoldac3
      @icecoldac3 Месяц назад

      @@Shoeperfreak31 correct your absolutely right. I’m not saying that you’re wrong. Merely showing you whats Lakers position and standpoint is. Personally I think they’re making a major mistake. If you’re going to go youth…. then go all in. 📌
      GTJ MLE and Wendell Carter Jr trade would’ve been solid additions based on age and “youth” movement.🔒
      AR, GTJ, Knecht, Max, Vando, Rui, Wendell all under 26 years old. 📈

    If the lakers don’t make a trade, this is definitely standing pat which if I’m AD , I would be disappointed for not helping me to win with Lebron might be as good as he is now than next year or he may be out of NBA after this season & the next

    I would start Trent over either DLo or Reaves not becoz he’s a better player than Reaves is but the fit w/ Dlo would is better. Reaves will play when either Dlo or Trent is on the Court w/c definitely more than Trent’s minutes.

    Lakers legitimately HAD a problem and this offseason shows the correction and direction of that problem. Lakers ownership and front office has prioritized youth and future assets over winning now. Hence draft stock and no trades….. #SIMPLE
