I really like the pictures with remnants of yellow leaves - 8:08 & 10:17. The one at 12:30 with the dog walker is lovely because it shows them interacting with each other - a real 'man's best friend' image.
ooohh My that Mist !!! it makes even the walk thru scenes look cinematic image two caught me... class... and then that clearing appears and I'm done... that tree wow... and then you go and finish me off with that pano ... bravo !!
Nice images, great looking woodland too offering some nice separation between trees and not a lot of messy complications on the floor to contend with. Brave wearing white trainers in winter too 😀
Some very fine images, especially the 0nes at 3:45,8:07 and the two at the end. It was smart to leave as it got busier, not because of all the people, but to keep those white shoes from getting muddy Lol !
What a stunning morning, those conditions......, I tried the other morning in freezing fog, had to give up, lost all feeling in my hands, guess that’s what getting old does to you. Some beautiful images, the ones with people in worked very well, something I tend to avoid. But if I had to choose my favourites it would be the ones at 8:12 & 10:26. ‘Til next time Take care
Thanks once more for sharing and good to seen you having a better day. I really, really like the shot at about 8:30 with the fallen tree perpendicular to the uprights. I think there are a number of geometries at play which make this work. Firstly the fallen vs uprights trees, then the placing of the trees (look very symmetrical if imagined from above) and then the banding of colours with horizontal woodland floor and misty upper split by the trees themselves. Excellent shot - I would be delighted with this one which is the standout for me 🥇🥇🥇
7:02 that’s very special that character, what a shot! 8:08 my fave. Lots of great shots, but I love that one☝️I’ll be speaking to you about this on Friday! Sithee!
Generally, as a rule I have made a point of excluding people in my landscape shots. I'll try and include one or two next time the opportunity arises. Thanks for the vlog Gary.
That was a good shoot and I bet you was glad to be out in it, that mist or fog changes everything from a simple shot to a very good one! I watched this on the big screen and it looked wonderful! Peterborough United...reminds me of a close encounter with Barry Fry way back when he managed my home team. Well done and thank you for taking us with you...
Nothing like a bit of fog to bring out the best. Lovely shots Gary, see I do watch others videos sometimes ;-) indecently I used to live not far from you in Bletchley before it was swallowed up by Milton Keynes but that was a very long time ago.
Thanks for taking the time to watch Adam, and thanks also for popping into last night’s Pubcast 🙂 It was a pleasure chatting to you 👍 Oh god, I’d imagine you wouldn’t even recognise Bletchley if you came back now!!
Superb images Gary mate, glad to see you out again, it is difficult in these times to get motivated for going out, Monday was my first outing in the wilds so to speak for a while as well, but once you get out there it feels so natural and normal again, you just forget all that is going on for that short period of time
Great vlog as always Mate. Really enjoyed watching and viewing your images. You captured the atmosphere exceptionally well. Cheers for sharing Mate and take care, 👍📸
Great looking woodland that mate with some lovely images you took, loved the one at 10:23 with the yellow tree just visible through the fog with the log at the foot of it just looked really nice, glad to see you back out mate, stay safe !
You have a fantastic eye for balance in a photo. Beautiful shots. You're lucky to have so much open woodland in your area (I guess it's well managed). Most of ours is wild, tangled and pretty impenetrable. I suppose you have to work with what you have. Those white trainers are ... legend, bro.
What a fabulous find and brilliant conditions. Hard to pick a fave image but the ones at 8:08 & 10:28 with the autumnal colours hanging on were superb. Someone needs to send a note to Charlie Waite to add a misty woodland category to LPOTY, can't open Twitter atm without see a portfolio shot :)
Hi Gary, nice one, beautiful images and the atmosphere of the whole video is just superb. I’m trying to motivate myself to get back out and vlog again and this video is pushing me closer to get off my comfy chair and just do it! Thanks Gary this was very inspiring.
What the Hell have you got on your feet? Jamie, Darren, Malie ,David etc are going to comment on this im sure LOL ,see if it is mentioned on the Pubcast 33 :) . Nice wood thanks for the info .oh and the pictures are great .
Oh Gary, why is life so unfair. All these misty woodland videos & here in South Devon, at least at weekends, when I can get out what do we get. No B.......Y Mist. The image at 8.08 is stunning & worth a print. Oh by the way send down some of your fog will ya. Ta !!
Did I spot a pano in there at 10:23 or pano crop? It's one of my favourites of the set irrespective. Wonderful conditions and some cracking shots there to be proud of mate 👍
Now that was a good vlog that had everything, great delivery from the vloger, atmosphere with a stunning backdrop and photography to dream about. Excellent work Gary!
Nice photographs man! I am looking for places to visit to take some photos in the south east of england and your channel has some great places to go. Great content. All the best

Thanks so much Malcolm, I think that I was reasonable lucky as it wasn't too cold (although I did start to feel it at the end)
Fab location, conditions and shots. Nice one. 👍

Excellent Images Gary, you caught the Dog walkers perfectly.
Generally, as a rule I have made a point of excluding people in my landscape shots. I'll try and include one or two next time the opportunity arises. Thanks for the vlog Gary.
Thanks Mark, adding people is only something that I seem to have started doing recently, but it seems to work (sometimes)

I know mate, Twitter has been absolutely full of amazing woodland images of late (including a couple of your own, may I add)
