Hi, Armin. Another very fine review of still another Sanlida high-value recurve. Hope you'll keep up the terrific work you do on our behalf. Best, Chris (Maine, USA.
If you are just starting in traditional archery I would recommend a 30-35# bow. You don't want to over bow yourself. You want something that you can have fun shooting for awhile. If your a taller person go with the 62"
Nice review Armin, Im probably going to pick this one up to add to the collection. I have 2 of the Royal X8 Recurves, and the Hermit X10. Curious to see how the Hermit X8 would shoot with the X10 Carbon limbs.
it's the same riser than the Oak ridge Shade i was interested a year ago but they told me the ILF system is not very stable in time, better choose White Feather or Old Mountain i finally bought a one piece recurve, the 62 Wild Mountain dolomite, but for 30€ more i should have taken the Silvretta II, with wonderfull woods (at Ribos, Austria)
I guess one should know and respect the minimum gpp, at least for the warranty. Because if this bow keeps performing like that during all the warranty period, especially delivering 200 at 40 pounds, for $150...
I guess it's kinda worth mentioning that the 149$ price is ONLY for US. Otherwise its 200$ (still a cool price tho). And its RightHand only, so, sorry lefties... (or thumb shooters :P)

Looks like a decent bow for price.
Thanks for the review on this one.
Such perfect form. great to watch a master
Hello Armin,
Nice shoulder tap 😉 you nailed it.
:D
I've been expecting you to be testing this one too.
Armin what was the arrow pouch you were using? It looks neat and compact!😊
a minimalist quiver by Richard Mercz I did a video a few weeks ago
Was good to see you were a quiver; apparently this mini one does really the trick for you! 👍🏻👏😁
Shot 3D with a man this morning that had this bow for two weeks. His 35#. He got 3rd place. Bought for 119 at Amazon.
Nice.
Nice one .Thanks.
Nice bow. Looked like a good shooter
ILF is international limb fit. All ILF limbs are interchangeable and will fit qny ILF riser
Rookie question here but when ordering a bow what is the best way to know your size for bow length and weight?
Go to the nearest bow shop to you and let the professionals answer your questions....

What has been your experience with this bow versus the hermit x10?

What arrows are you shooting. Do you have the link? Thanks
I cannot find the hermit x 8 for sale anywhere, not even on their own website !
Did you try doing a search on their website? I had to for another bow that wasn't on their listing page.
Wish they had these, arent making them right now!
Looks like a rebranded Oak Ridge ilf riser.
it's the same : Shade model, not recomanded for strong limbs...
Seems to me the producer is Sanlida and it's rebranded by Oak Ridgem
Kinda odd seeing Armin shoot 3 fingers olympic style. But still looking really good and on form.
