Oh my goodness, this is the BEST! The most beautiful, charming, delightful bride, the most handsome groom with a little boy who's his mini-me, the fabulous Irish accents!!! This groom is the most organized, thoughtful, creative of all the grooms on this show. He gave his bride a beautiful wedding while still adding touches for himself. Of all the videos I've watched on this series, this is the BEST! Congratulations to the happy couple, and may they have a long, prosperous, happy life together.
Happy anniversary to this couple
When the he was picking the dress and he saw that one, that was familiar to her fantasy one i yelling omg pick it, lol
Wow he was organized though
Lovely, fun ceremony. The groom c CD CD
So far I have not been disappointed by any of the weddings and I don't think the brides have either they have always looked beautiful and the venues have been wonderful but but I am just waiting to see one that is really messed up because I am sure that there is 1 man out there that does not get it.
I am just so in love with this countryside everything is everything is so beautiful I only wish that my significant other had not passed away and he would have been as thoughtful as this husband husband I would have loved to be married A place like this it is absolutely gorgeous
Aww such a lovely comment Barbara! Thank you so much! So happy you enjoyed it.
Oh, there’s definitely some really messed up ones.
In the end, what was most important was their love for each other, as it should be. Everything else was just window dressing.
Luckily he got the dress correctly.
Inside smoking area?
I think this is the first time I've ever seen a Groom actually think and care about what his Bride would want.
Sweet couple. Nice mix of his & hers wants. Although the venue was not a romantic country estate, it was nice when you consider it was all inclusive. So many grooms are piecemealing their reception & working the night before/morning of to get venue set up only to have to break it down right after the reception. Venue included transportation, 5 course meal, wine, flowers, band, flowers, décor, champagne toast, a wedding coordinator & 3 rooms for the family. They don't need to drive off, just go upstairs & go to sleep.
You are so right! We were looked after so well by the Louis Fitzgerald they made it impossible not to go there! Will always be so thankful to them.
Or not sleep.
Overall he did alright. She was upset abt the venue but next she was pleading to him abt wanting a pet snake hahaha! She's adorable :) Also when she said all she saw was him... Awwwww
Her dress reminds me of Kate Middleton's wedding DRESS. Traditional yet so elegant!
Mandy had always said she wanted a dress with sleeves and she loved Kate Middletons so when the girl in the shop said "this is very like the Kate Middletons dress" I knew that was the one!
Her dress great and the color co-ordination was lovely. The part when she cuss over the bus and the zoo was hilarious. Well done Congrats
Hi there! This is my wedding! A friend of mine just sent me a link I didn't think it was still out there! We just celebrated or 10th Anniversary so seems a lifetime ago now! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@thefallenmaster Congrats it was new to me but keep the falmes burning ❤
Congrats - you put on a lovely wedding!
Lovely Bride and lovely dress. Would have given up the helicopter for the right venue though... Not sure what the point of the helicopter was since it didn't take her to her destination and none of the guests saw her grand entrance. Oh well. Boys will be boys.
The point was she felt so special and had a great adventure.
Unfortunately we couldn't land the Helicopter near the Zoo in Dublin because its in the Phoenix Park next to The police HQ, The President of Ireland and the US Ambassador's residences so we couldn't get the permission!
@@thefallenmaster Ahhh! Now I get it!! Beautiful wedding anyway! Definitely fit for a Queen!
Nice wedding. The helicopter ride was a tribute to the military start of the relationship. Congratulations
It absolutely was! A little bit of fun too!
His mom’s house is exactly how I imagined an English cottage.
English tudor style cottage in Ireland though so even better! :)
Looks like such a fun wedding though! She’ll never be bored with Phil haha
We had such a brilliant time doing this show and had literally the best day with so many laughs. It was 10 years ago now but don't think Mandy is bored just yet :)
He did so good. The zoo was awesome.
It was definitely a unique wedding but beautiful nonetheless. I really loved the episode and want to wish this lovely couple wonderful and happy life together
Their son is 100 percent the groom's mini me.
He certainly is! He is 23 now though! :)
That was for me the most romantic episode so far ❤️
So glad you liked it! We loved doing it!
And this bride is so beautiful
She certainly is! I'm a very lucky man.
They really hit my man and showed him fail to hit that last pin. Damn.
I know right! Missed that Spare on TV! Never lived it down hahaha
It really took forever to get dresses with sleeves, Kate inspired here - 4 years after I was still seeing too many older styles, it's nice he found something she liked - I did like the ones she tried.
I really prefer to see more of the thought process behind choosing all the little details like flowers, cake, invites, decor etc. rather than alot the video time to stags - or have the bride plan the stag with an allotted amount since it's the opposite of the usual planning roles. Showers on the American dttb (and men should have barn/cabin raisings , construction parties or something that contributes to the home😅😊).
If she says mr Darcy one more time😁☺😊😤
I did too and I am the bride :)
9-27-24 the Bday box had me smiling and crying - so sweet 🩷💙
She looks beautiful! The zoo would have e been awesome!!! Lol
It was amazing! Photos were so different and brilliant too!
The wedding dress looks similar in design with duchess Kate Middleton. Interesting.
I think men planning the wedding should become tradition. This much better to watch than bridezilla type shows
Why would you leave your wedding and especially your dress up to your boyfriend? He'll have no clue..
Maybe it is a british thing but culturlly it seems the wedding couple pay for the wedding clothes for their prty nd hen nd stag. The Western or merican style would save money plus faar too much is going into the hen and stag. The spa would be over a hundred.
Omg! The organization and scheduling! Amazing!
I don't understand in this series why brides are out looking at venues & trying on wedding gowns? They aren't making the choice nor seeing the groom to tell him. I couldn't do this; too much responsibility for some men. The groom has no business choosing the wedding gown nor seeing it prior to the wedding.
Lowkey I think it’s cause Irish moms are notorious gossips. One would see Phil going to the store and be like “I saw yer woman at _____ oh Phil it’s lovely that one. You thinking of getting married there then?” And then it would come back to the groom and he could book it 😂
Not going to lie that hen time looked hella fun! Definitely something I'd do for my hen night if i had one😆
WHY do these women set themselves up? Stop looking, stop shopping. You KNOW they aren't going for the venue or the dress you want....being you never mentioned it! Then you want to tea them lIke s!!+ because they don't.....? Get off it!
But that’s the point of the show tho. To compare the visions and to partially allow the bride to experience wedding planning on the side
It's part of the show, they have to do it.
Of course I knew what she would like but you aren't allowed do it! That's the whole point!
TV Show... effects
They are the complete opposites 😂
“I have let Two I’d-jits’ in a bridal shop to pick my dress”
What’s with the helicopter. $1040.00 when they always run out at the end. A little left over for emergencies or a ring makes way more sense to me.
Do the crew think of the worst idea for a hen party. Why do they throw them in extreme outdoor exercise, then forget the rest of the evening, thinking they would have had enough. I love the “ he wouldn’t do it, why should we?” While he is comfortable in a bar drinking.
I love the detail to timing. I had a binder of what went where and the timing down in an excel spreadsheet as well. Sometimes that’s the only way to see gaps or problems.
We have the Adam and gods almost touch as our “thing”. Went to Rome to see it for real.
“I won’t say I do, I will say the zoo?”
Lovely episode just work on the hens party. Why don’t they all go to the spa then out for dinner and drinks. The guys spend twice as much on their night for sure.
Most of these shows are on a budget.. Yet the groom spends aa a fortune on the stag and the entrance or transport. Things where you can save money. And often there is some dangerous element. One of these shows someone is going to end up really hurt, killed or an invalid. Sky diving. jet ski. going on a dinghy whatever.
Why do the would be wives set themselves up by visiting places.....when they know its not happening?
Wouldn't be much of a TV show format if they didn't though would it?
Because it's in the contact they signed for the money. It's advertising for the venues. Same with the wedding dress.
TV Show to get effects
respect
Lovely
He did good
Yes!!!
15 years really. 2 kids why did they bother getting married
I think most women want to have their big Day in the country and the men in a hotel
That date is Australia Day. Congratulations to the lovely couple.
Beautiful bride, she looks like Amy Adams with dark hair :D
18:49 I cant get over the fact that shes dragging the other dog lmaooooo
OHHHH PHILIP FUNNY
Good funny or bad funny? :)
I love it that he is so organized ❤
NOOOOOOOOO!
God its like having a wedding at the Rsl
There was no stag or hen party?
There was both. They just didn’t need to show too much of them in the show.
How much is a Quid?
A bit over a dollar. Quid is just slang for a British pound.
@@KittyCatDonut this was in Ireland but we do say "a few quid" here too like a few bucks in America.
He has money for a helicopter but not for her dream reception venue 😂😂
These weddings are getting more stupid.Your getting MARRIED .I'm waiting for a pajama wedding.
We got married which is the point of a wedding so mission accomplished. If you don't want a religious ceremony the options of where you can get married are pretty limited or at least they were 10 years ago when we did this. Slightly different venue from the norm and a brilliant day had by all doesn't sound that stupid really.
Venue horrible. Oh dear.
We enjoyed it and had a great day all the same :)
The Venue was crap.
Our Wedding Venue or the reception?
@@thefallenmaster Both really. But the reception looked looked an ordinary GAA dance or something.
@@robertamcmunn3642 A ceremony in the Zoo beats a stuffy old priest in a church in my opinion. Reception was about the same as any Irish Wedding in a hotel that I’ve been a guest at. We had a great party with family and friends so we enjoyed it at least. When you have a small planning window and a very limited budget it narrows down your options quickly!
@@thefallenmaster as someone planning a wedding on a limited budget, I really appreciate this show. Everyone has opinions, but unless it is their own event, they really don't need to share them.
After that many years and children----just go to city hall.
Aww Michele you old romantic. It isn't quite the same setup in Ireland and it would be the local Health Centre :)
having a dream to remember all the years to come
Black bridesmaids dresses! It’s not a funeral. Really bad taste.
I think black suits any formal party, it's not only for a funeral, very classy and neutral colour.
Bridesmaids picked them so after 4 and half hours it suited me fine :)
Another immature guy. Just walk away before it begins.
How old are they? They act immature.
Really? Thanks Elaine. It was 10 years ago and we were about 32 at the time. What did you find was immature?
@@thefallenmasternothing to do w time - would be lovely for many couples today as well 🎉
I had a single hope for phil when he considered the manor and then he was like I want a good deal and chose a hotel. I was like jfc why can’t men get it right ever 🫠
