The 3rd strategy looks good to me, I like the rules based system it employs and I’ve traded something similar before that works well in strong trending markets. If I was to be even more cautious, I think I would also add an extra condition that the RSI has to cross the 50 line upwards for a long position and vice versa for a short. Add in the 200 EMA for overall tend confirmation and maybe even a 20 EMA for short term trend indication, could be a very powerful strategy.

Really interesting strategies.. I have tested a bit and found that
Strategy 1 - It does work only sometimes.. the ARTY indicator doesn't give confidence. However the trend meter is superb and i tried with 9 and 100 ema as per your last video and it works most of the times ( good for scalping as per me) ...
Strategy 2 - The VMC cipher works but gives very few signals above the 0 line.
Strategy 3 - As mentioned by you the divergence indicator appears after sometime ( not good for F&O as per me but for cash market it will be very good). It works sometime and sometimes it doesn't. We need to pay more attention towards the slope of the divergence and the price to see the effectiveness.
Your videos do make me think and will help me in improving my day trading for sure. Thanks a ton for the effort.

Since January 1, according to the third strategy, there were 10 entry signals, of which 2 were closed by stop loss. But, since the strategy is slow, it gives quite accurate entry points and a high percentage of price growth - from 6%. I think these indicators should always be open in a separate window.

yestarday was fcn amazin genius signal for short NEAR and other alts on high TF. I try it, but was afraid and closed by stoploss.we are definitely in a bearish trend today. Don't work from long signals!

My personal feedback (although I haven't tested them in detail)
1. Arty. This is personal, I really avoid the indic/strategies that do not share code. It's too dangerous to rely blindly without knowing what's behind... No matter how good it is.
2. Quite interesting and promising. But do we really need so much indics to confirm?
3. Divergence is usually quite powerful and gives high win rate.... At the expense of the frequency of trades. I think this doesn't happen often.
Ps: OTS, could you please once do a video using futures ES or NQ as example?

I used the 3rd strategy and entered on BTC at 46402.20, ETH at 3494.40, ADA at 1.1716, BNB 444.85, and AVAX 99.80, all with RISK/REWARD ratio of 2, and they all hit my stop loss.
what time frame ?.. you know Divergence is not good at small frames and how many time you tested it

I like the last strategy. Instead of using the MACD, how about using the Normalized MACD to elimlnate the lag that the regular MACD has.

There's an indicator called "Divergence for Many Indicators" which will also prove useful. Can use for confluence as well a as possibly for hidden divergences too.
Yes, it is one of the best indicators even if it repaints sometimes, and its rating on Tradingview is very high, thank you for this suggestion

Nice explanations. Eager to backtest these on my charts and see what works best. Personally i am more interested in VMC cipher B as i use it very often. One tip though...!! When you see momentum waves rising, moneyflow curve rising and we get a squeezed W shape or squeezed M shape in the direction of trend on the waves along with divergence. That will be your best entry. Cheers..!!
As i see you bring valuable content on youtube, i would love to see a video on understanding the different settings that developers provide on indicators and how to optimize them to increase winning rate of our designed strategies so it will be suited for the volatility of the market we choose. This content is nowhere available and i guess one has to be on the coding side to understand these criteria or on a higher technical level to understand these things.... from backtesting and with experience i gotta say the second one is better since divergence trading need some other confirmations with the trend in order to be accurate
another reason is the second one is based on price exhaustion which is more likely to be accurate since sellers/buyers at some point will be exhausted which we can take advantage even in strong bull run we can take short safely, thank you for sharing this strategy to us fellow subscriber and thank you OTS for sharing this with us today

i think i like 1 and 3 , as im using free version of trading view i may need to use two browsers for 2nd strategy. i would try our 1st strategy for scalping and 3rd one for long spot trades . For 2nd strategy u no need to use two browsers, use rsi indicator name rsi double mtf.. you will have 2 rsi

@@defenderblack614 my current strategy is like the 2nd strategy but without N macd.. just use VMC and double rsi and ema 25 50 200. Trade when ema touch 25 and 50. For execution at rsi above OBOS line, VMC cipher B for double confirmation and see is there is a big catch or not (by wavetrend).. stop when red dot appear or fast rsi crossing the slow rsi.. trade when candle bouncing at 25 or 50 ema.
I often trade at 5 and 15 TF, so far so good easy to notice and easy set an alert. Its hard to me to have more than 3 indicator below the chart because i am a phone user.

Before I start using any indicator, first I draw the support and resistance lines on a 1 day frame, then I go back to the 1 hour frame to start trading, then I use the 200 moving average to find out the direction of the trend, I also try to stay away from the pullback movement and always try to ride the waves of The trend, after I apply all this, using any indicator will be good enough
The 3rd indicator looks pretty good, however if applied to btcusdtperp 1h chart, the last divergence (bearish) alert is on april 2nd (today is april 13rd), so my question is how fresh should be the RSI Div Ind alert to be considered still valid for triggering the trade when the others indicators match. Thanks.

The first one is good at scalping, but it lacks accuracy. I think adding other indicators, such as stochastic RSI , will be very useful. Personally, I prefer to use one of the indicators derived from the half trend indicator but the most important is to set Fibonacci ret on 1h frame when scalping on a 5m frame .
