Hello, really helpful video, here in Italy both the kamvan pro 20 and the wacom cintiq 16 cost 450€ , what do you recommend me the most? Do you think there's a quality gap between the two? Thank you
With wacom you can use their other pens, but the screen is thick. This one has a little barely noticeable jitter, has express keys, and laminated screen (less parallax).
No I used a hdmi to DisplayPort cable. But on newer models iMacs. You may need a special version of that cable. Check the Apple store. My iMac is a 2012 model
the resolution is fullHD still hoped they announced the 4k version by now. Hi Brother. Really glad to see someone making a completely honest video. Its something one doesnt find a lot nowadays. I have been searching for the [minimum] computer configuration in Windows that is required for Huion Kamvas Pro 20. But all I have come across is that its compatible with Windows 7 or later/more. I got two laptops with Windows 10: One has Processor i5 - 2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz, Installed RAM - 4.00 GB, and 64-bit OS x 64-based processor. The Other has i3 - 5005U CPU @ 2.00GHz, Installed RAM 4.00 GB, and 64-bit OS x 64-based processor. I humbly request you to please let me know as to whether these configurations are fine for Huion Kamvas Pro 20. Looking forward to receiving your invaluable support. Thanking you in advance. Josh
hey there, both laptops should be able to use this pen tablet. as long as they have display out option. its literately nothing more dan een extra display with layer for the pen. so that should not be the problem. the software can be a bottleneck. although don't worry to much about that either. photoshop wil run fine on both of them, maybe smoothing is to much to ask but its not something you need. If you don't want to pay Wacom prices, then its probably the best wacom cintiq alternative on the market today. That said, if you are willing to spend the money, the Wacom will be a better drawing tablet overall. For many artist, the extra cost isnt worth difference (which seems to be shrinking with every new version).
I ordered and got it back in August, this is my very first tablet I owned, so I can't compare it to anything else and tell you how good or bad it is, but I can say that I am not regretting it, because it has a big screen, it's fluid, and has 16 buttons you can control individually, attach each button to whatever shortcut you want. It has ghosting, but it's not a big deal when you are drawing since it is only visible when you are doing your daily desktop stuff on the tablet screen rather than you monitor. This thing is great for the price since I never want to pay fortune for Wacom similar products.
@@hoptoad I have nothing to compare to though, since this is my first tablet, except monitor. The drawing motion is really good considering I have been gaming on a 144Hz monitor with 1ms refresh rate, so I can see when something is having lower refresh rate or not. Plus, 25 is still a small number that you wont notice that much, since you don't have any fast rapid motions happening as it is happening when gaming multiplayer fps games, since it is a bit more noticeable when gaming on monitors with fast paced shooters. But it's not really noticeable on a graphics tablet where you take your take to draw lines. But then again...my monitor is only thing I can compare to in this case and draw some answers, otherwise I haven't experienced lower refresh rate graphics tablets.

If you assign alt and shift to the shortcut keys on the tablet, do you find they sometimes get stuck on in zbrush?
I haven't test it. can you give some examples of shortcuts you want me to test?
Do You need hdmi adapter to Connect imac with huion?
No I used a hdmi to DisplayPort cable. But on newer models iMacs. You may need a special version of that cable. Check the Apple store. My iMac is a 2012 model
Really you confort with the resolutio / co ntrast?
the resolution is fullHD
still hoped they announced the 4k version by now. Although the FullHD version I have here is an amazing piece of hardware. using it now for quite some time on daily bases. the precision of the pen to display is really goed. the colours are good. contrast everything!
I would still today advice this tablet to people. because for its money its super.
does it have a lot of ghosting? I want to buy it to work with zbrush
this is the older model. in your case I would go for the Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (4k) or the Qhd version. the newer ones have so much improvements
@q now a days you really need to buy the newer versions they offer. When I made this review. It was worth all the money. Wacom just introduced there express key thing.
Now huion offers the same. Ultra HD, express keys. Etc. For a 3th of the price.
Planning to buy on of those and review them later this year.
Thank you very much bro i was thinking 'bout buying this one
If your budget allows it. I would buy the 2k or 4K versions they offer now. Very good pen displays
Would you say this particular tablet is still usable on the go in terms of size and weight - Like, throw it into a backpack and go is probably not really a thing tho? I am moving around quite a lot and was first looking at the Kamvas 16 pro, but would actually love to get my hands on this one.
Hi, I'm looking into getting this one as well, I did read into it and you must connect it into an external computer/laptop in order for it to work. In other words, it's not that portable.
@@abrahamabud4001 Oh yeah, thats obvious. Its a pen display, not a computer. I was more concerned about the dimensions / trans-portability of the Pen display. Its still as portable, no matter its a computer in itself or not tho. I carry a laptop with me all the time anyway.
I have this tablet and I’d say no. At least it wouldn’t work for me to carry it around. It’s large and it has 2 cables to connect to a computer and one to connect to power.
So which is the link were you bought it?
Armando Armandez www.huion.nl
gorch foth hmm, it doesn’t let me open it. Also I’m from Mexico, so I guess it may not work for me?
Armando Armandez probably not its an shop in Holland. For you i think its best to order from huion.com or alieexpress huion shop
Puedes comprarla por Amazon US y que la envíen a Mexico por envio Global,
will try to shoot another video this week, to answer some of the question in dept.
Is the parallax good?
rage sorry for the late reply, there isn’t Any. The laminated screen takes
This effect completly away. Same with straight lines they go flaweless. It’s a really good product
@@JunkieVirus aahh thanks mate
@@JunkieVirus on my 2019 model i have like a 1-2mm gap between the tip and the display.. is that normal ?
@@claud_b yes, there is always a tiny gap when screens are laminated. this the thickness of the glass till the accual panel
@@JunkieVirus alright ! thx :)
So really no parallax? older versions got a lot i wanna buy it but im afraid, parallax annoy me.
no prarallax on the kamvas models. make sure to check for "laminated display" in the description of the model you are interested in
the new laminated versions get rid of that,
Lol I expected "worst" means you're gonna point out all the bad things about the tablet and highly criticize it.
Always good to have more reviews from people who actually bought these tablets, I think the camera quality is decent, but if you prefer an unscripted reviews then I would suggest adding a timestamps for different sections or cut out some unrelated or longer ramblings
Hi Brother. Really glad to see someone making a completely honest video. Its something one doesnt find a lot nowadays.
I have been searching for the [minimum] computer configuration in Windows that is required for Huion Kamvas Pro 20. But all I have come across is that its compatible with Windows 7 or later/more. I havent gotten any more details - i.e. the Processor and RAM, and if any other important specification/detail is required.
I got two laptops with Windows 10:
One has Processor i5 - 2520M CPU @ 2.50GHz, Installed RAM - 4.00 GB, and 64-bit OS x 64-based processor.
I can also advice affinity software. way cheaper than photoshop since its a one time buy. no don't worry when you but this tablet it will work fine. and the software will work too.
@@JunkieVirus Thank you so much dear brother for your fast response. 🙂🤗 Thank you soo much.
@@elshaddai-houseofbiblelearning no problem at all, if you want to know more. shoot me a message.
@@JunkieVirus Dear brother, I would most probably be going for Clip Studio Paint. As of now, I am going to get the trial version, and see how it works.
Just wanted to know from your end as to whether it would be fine with the specifications that I have mentioned for my two laptops. Thank you brother for your extremely helpful input. :)
@@elshaddai-houseofbiblelearning Don't worry that software will run fine on your laptops. the Huion itself will not be a bottleneck for those systems. don't worry! you can let all your creativity out with this thing, your systems and the software
Nederland! Ik heb hem ook gekocht, bij mij is het eigenlijk best wel prima
Hier ook een prima apparaat, gebruik hem bijna dagelijks. naar een goede calibratie van het scherm is het magnifiek
You were not lying. The worst.
Would you recommend this to the Kamvas Pro 20 ? Is it worth it at all or ?
@@BIOSHOCKFOXX thats odd because the specs list refresh as 25ms, which is the same as second gen Cintiq, but its much worse on the HUION

DreamingFlurry thanks for your lovely reply
It is cheap seeing as the wacom one i'm looking at cost $2000. I am just looking at it as an investment in my future. 1 more month to save and I can get it.
Josh Blazio did you get one? I’d love to know how your tablet is, as I’m torn between getting Wacom or Huion....or xp pen.
Gayathiri Raguram Reddy shrink your choice to huion and Wacom. Laminated screen is a must believe me.
@@gayathiriraguramreddy6505 I did get one. I got the Cintiq Pro 24. It was a really good investment. I really am loving this tablet. I just started my first ZBrush class today (Character Modeling Fundamentals). It is so much easier using this vs the Intuos Pro Medium the school sent us.
Jesus loves you
