    Can the injectors be repaired on these engines?
    I have a similar engine, 125kw (CFGB engine).
    When the engine is cold (below 90 degrees) the injectors are:
    cylinder 1 = -0.90mg
    cylinder 2 = -0.44mg
    cylinder 3 = 1.1mg
    cylinder 4 = 0.24mg
    When the engine warms up, the results are as follows:
    cylinder 1 = -0.17mg
    cylinder 2 = 0.11mg
    cylinder 3 = 0.22mg
    cylinder 4 = -0.11mg
    I watched this via VCDS.
    The car has no black smoke, it pulls well. The only thing that has a "diesel" sound until it warms up, the first few minutes of driving, especially over 2000rpm, later, when warm, it has a completely normal engine sound.
    Do you know what the problem is here? Thanks in advance

      As for the sound, I won't be able to help you until I hear it. The nozzle correction values ​​are quite good. These injectors are repaired, but I would recommend putting new ones or at least industrially restored ones.

      As for the sound, is that the sound when the injector injects a lot? Like older diesels. And this is confirmed when I look at the injector values ​​while the engine is cold and when it is warmed up.

      What do you think about purge injectors? I watched a couple of clips on youtube. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses directly to a container with cleaner (LIQUE MOLY) and let the engine idle for a few minutes. Does it have any effect?

      @@radulepg You can try to clean the injector with some means intended for this purpose. I haven't tried to do that. I once poured the original VW fuel system cleaner into the tank, but it's hard to say if it had any positive results.
