Do you have a tutorial for the move @0:12? Cos that's a slightly different pivot to the ones I've seen so far.

Cool ! Cant wait to try. I have a question for you. What do you recommend for maintenance for skating as far as other exercises to incorporate on a regular regime ? I think I try to squeeze way to much in a week with cardio aerobics, programs for flexibility and balance, yoga, strength training, skating etc. Realistically what do I really need while practicing as an artistic skater? My goal is to compete someday but I know that is far down the line but for now what do you recommend ?

Such a great question! It sounds like you are cross training which is great for skating. Honestly anything that helps with stamina, core strength, muscle strength, and flexibility are all great for skating. Skating will also increase muscle strength, and stamina. I find yoga the most beneficial and enjoyable for me personally, and I find the lessons in alignment, balance, coordination, control, and focus etc. translate well to figure skating. You could warm up with 5- 10 min cardio then a 20-60 min yoga and follow with meditation ✌️that’s my routine many days for me ...

Thank you. I think that I need to change the priorities of what I include in a weekly schedule of exercises and the main thing to is make sure I can adequate amount of sleep. One only has so much energy and time and I think when you over do strength training your not going to have an abundance of energy to work on your jumps and drills which surely does work your legs and glutes and abs. Maybe you could do a warm up video before one goes to skate whether at a rink , trails or even a basketball court ? Drills are also nice. (( This is what many of us wish we had at the rink where I go to the adult skate)) we would love to have some one give us drills to do. (( We do not have a coach at this rink right now or I would be taking lessons )) I like to follow real time with the teacher/coach when it comes to drills at home off or on skates because I know that if the coach will do them, I will do them. Not sure if that is applicable in this type of arena that your teaching but thought I would ask. Also educating us newbies on the stretches that help with skating (maybe a before and after) It must sound mundane but its reality when it comes to the world of skating. I think many of us are like sponges taking in as much as we can from those that are experienced. So any and all advice I am sure is welcome, for sure by me. Thank you again.
