Okay, so here is my review of this review. I actually own a G5 as well and agree with literally everything that was said, both the pros and the cons, and the final verdict. I will want to make it known, my G5 did not work right out of the box with my LG V20 I needed to contact gamesir and make them ship me the A2 Remapper. They claim the new built in remapper with be good enough, but that is not the case for every phone. so if you have one, and it's not working, chances are you need to get a remapper Also I have a Type C usb port on my phone and the A2 remapper DOES work with it. Another Issue I've yet to resolve is the remapper software offers the ability to save your mapping templates to the cloud, but If you are able to register for the service with your mobile phone number you should also go play the lottery, cause you are a lucky son of a gun!

That's... a lot of buttons(looks really dope though!). Do you think this could work on a PC via bluetooth dongle? Those buttons could actually work on mmorpgs lol. Also, great non-biased review!
I've use it on pc via direct plug in and also used it to play on Nox and 'Memu via joy2key, which does recognize it and allow you to map using it.

Tiny Little Games Nice, would a Nvidia Shield tablet squeeze between the holder or is the Razer phone about its limit? I have a Galaxy S9 Plus but find the screen too small for gaming.

Hi. I have a question. The trackpad is working for me but how the x/y/a/b on trackpad is not working. How can I make it work? Is there a mode for trackpad only or x/y/ab only? Thanks!
From my time with it you'll have to choose either or. Then map the xyb to other physical buttons.

It works as a universal controller thing. It works with any controller. I don't think it has its own controller

That's correct, the initial batch of controllers were shipped out mid May 2018
it will be better if octopus works with gamesir g5 controller, because it's quite uncomfortable that you have to redownload and start the game through the gamesir APP, are they injecting something to the game files?. even if octopus works, i doubt it got the trackpad support though.

I have a problematic relationship with that controller. I like my gamepads unique. Thats why i love for examlpe Steam Controller and this one looks promising buuuut... I cant find anywhere information if this pad works both with android AND PC. Thats why i havent bought it yet. I would if it worked on both but i can justify spending that much if it works only with android. Technically it says its bluetooth gamepad but usually its followed with assurance that controller works with pc and i cant find it that reassurance anywhere. Does anyone here has it and can confirm?

The permissions just to use the game controller is insane. Might as well let the Chinese company control and view all the data on your phone.

@@TinyLittleGamesTiny do you know if xpadder works with this? I found while playing mobile games I prefer the touch screen (or touch/haptic feedback) for accuracy when it comes to aiming, but an analog stick would make movement so much more fluid.

I agree, if you want to use it with Android, you have to know that at the moment, linking with google or facebook (to use your progress in the game) doesn't work. And dispite saying they are working on it, still no solutions at the moment. I can't say for IOS, I haven't been able to test.

I just got it . in the manual that i got i got a codebar to scan . so i dont need to buy the remaping device.
Juan ramirez yeah, but if you no remapping using PC or remapper A2, you can't bind your account. On the left holder have USB slot, you can remapper using that too
