All of the gamesir products are now paperweights! You can no longer play fortnite or pubg without getting banned! Pubg is Banning people for literally 9 years.
i knew this time will come. Funny thing about gamesir products is that they are marketed as official controllers to PUBG :D

Had my unit for more than a year now with so much hopes for the so called track pad. Now the update finally works on my device. Sad to say it's not a track pad it's a touch pad buttons doesn't really track your finger. It pans the screen when you slide your thumb over the button giving an illusion of a track pad function. Its more like a touch pad d-pad.😢

Considering we are in an age of cross platform gaming, people with controllers can dominate touchscreen or screen levers. But mouse and keyboard will always be even more precise. So why not let anyone use any controller method. Its not just about better skill better equipment holds up all the same, like playing PUBG on lowest settings on a budget phone vs max settings on a Galaxy S8+
So far this won't connect to my Motorola z2 play. Comects to my tablet and can play via the remapper but I want to use my phone. Not happy.

Not tested that but from what I understand - answer would be no. Controller works only inside games not Android home screens and apps.
MRP is it really? If yes that would be too bad. I was wondering if I should change my ipega if G5 actually got a good mouse mode. My ipega mouse mode is just too slow, and it's really annoying (or hard despite usable) when you want to navigate without touching your screen.
I will have a go on that.
MRP the controller works as an input device on my note 8. The touch pad is very responsive and works much better for aiming for me than a second joystick. This thing is pretty bad ass
Can you use iOS and play fortnite
You can use this controller on iOS. But set-up process not that easy. And only small amount of games are compatible with G5 controller on iOS. Don't think Fortnite will work.

I used the USB port to remap. Also works in PUBG. Just launcher the game from remapper and not g-engine. It's not fully functional yet and crashes.

Josh Cavanaugh I believe that the warning for PUBG is if you play using the g-engine. As far as I'm aware using the remap option is still ok. If you're still worried about it you can connect via Bluetooth and use the Octopus emulator. That way you're using the gamepad but not the software from the world app or g-engine that seems to be the issue.
What I have noticed is if I'm connecting G5 controller over phone Bluetooth settings but not over Worlds app - controller not working. Seems that controller only working if it's connected to the phone using gamesir worlds app.

Heidi Munsch yup ..also THEY haven't updated any games at all for app..we ourselves need to figure out all the mappings....for all newcomers it's..so hard to get with it.....😡😡😡...also.. while paying pubg...still its bugged with .mapp8ng .....

If opening games as normally you would do. Not through Gamesir world app but from app drawer.
Mine stop crashing after i use remapping instead of direct play. You can activate it by simply connecting the cable to your mobile (usb port of G5 hidden by the cap, connect to your andriod).. developer and debugging opt should be enabled on your android no pc or remapping usb required to activate. Sprakenturn!

i was wondering the same thing want to purchase as a multi purpose controller but cant find info if it is compatible with pc.

If you hit X and home, it might be compatible since android and windows use the same bluetooth.
Gamesir G5 sucks, after updating the firmware, the GamePad didn’t turn on anymore, and GameSir just said that pramin can’t do anything, incompetent
Gamesir g5 sucks. It does not work in ML, PUBG and a lot of android games. The GameSir World App does works but it stops working and it works only on tests not on the actual game. If you buy this be ready to be disappointed.Just sharing my experience though.
