You actually divide the polling time in half and add that to the other options. Because you poll every 60 seconds. If the flag raised at 59s and you poll at 60. It was 1 second delay there. But on average it'll be 30. Where the 10hz polling rate would be 3s average. And so on.

I saw some early concerns about the tension dials, either fear of moving them by mistake or just general criticism that there’s seemingly no way to lock them in place. I assume you didn’t have any issues, because it didn’t come up?

I have two possible guesses: 1. You're not on Dongle mode and are instead using Nintendo Switch (NS) mode or 2. You need to calibrate your device. If #2, you calibrate by turning on the controller, pressing and holding Start+Select+DpadUp until the light flashes, fully rotating both sticks couple times, pressing each trigger fully a couple times, then press Start+Select+DpadUp to finish calibrating.

Force Trim behavior.. etc. Just play with DCS and browse through the different options to see what all you can adjust to your tastes.
The sound is about as loud as the dpad on an Xbox Series controller. It's not the same type of sound, but loudness is about the same. Same goes for the Vader 4 Pro dpad.
Hello hello! I bought a Vader 4 Pro, everything is fine in it, but I don't understand what's wrong with the vibration, some kind of unpleasant buzzing is coming from, is everyone the same? Or is it just me?!
Hello, will I be able to play COD via steam with the vader 4 pro? As in all buttons are available, usable and remapping supported? Or do I have to do it over battlenet.

@@Tuuvas Nice to see you back!!! and cant wait for the other contents you have been working on. I have a question about Flydigi Controller. Can we fly Su27 with this controller without constantly trimming the jet or can i auto trim it?
Unfortunately no. No matter what kind of controller you use (gamepad, flight stick, HOTAS, simpit), you must trim the Flankers to get them to cooperate. They're quite the hassle to fly.
I wanted to ask whether you can use analog triggers and gyro at the same time, I've been looking for a controller and i heard switch controllers won't allow to do both, and my best option is a PS4 controller (spark n5)
So, the reason for that is because most controllers that have a "Nintendo Switch Controller" mode, like NS mode shown for this Vader 4 Pro, turns the analog triggers into digital on/off buttons. This is because the Nintendo Switch doesn't actually use analog triggers for any of its controllers. That said, you can absolutely use both analog triggers and a gyro at the same time with this Vader 4 Pro. Just don't use NS mode, and instead use dongle mode.
Want to play on Xbox? Xbox controller. Want to play on PC, Android, iOS, or Switch? Vader 4 Pro absolutely. Still want to play on Xbox anyways? Vader 4 Pro + costly adapter that might allow it to work
@@Tuuvas yeah, thanks. Apparently there are adapters you can buy that make it usable on Xbox. The controller was actually in stock at Amazon so I grabbed one. Worse case scenario I just use it on PC.
@@Tuuvas So the controller works from battery even if I use cable? So what should I do when battery dies, get a new controller or what, I wanna know can I play only with cable without using the battery at all?
Hello thx for the video, im waiting my own vader 4 pro as well, Its for warzone / black ops 6 do u think we need to enable auto calibration joystick ? Or we need to put this off ?
It wouldn't hurt to enable as it only happens when you put the controller down for several seconds. It's mostly helpful for changing your thumbstick tension on the fly
Excellent. I love how you use a flight sim to test the joystick, great idea! Thank you. About the Gyro issue you mention, this looks normal to me because you likely set the gyro output to... a right stick output. Obvious this is going to add up to the existing physicial right stick output. The reason people like Gyro aiming is that with an app like DS4W you can output the gyro to a mouse instead. This way the output of both at the same time shouldn't conflict. I'm actually still on the fence about this controller because nobody testing it atm seems to know how to setup gyro for videogames even though it should be straight forward: just use the Flydigi app to output the gyro to mouse movement.. Which I don't even know if they offer this option, dunno if they support emulating mouse to right stick (useful for some games), I don't know if this controller is otherwise supported in DS4W app, I don't know how Rewasd or Steam Input would recognize it and if 3axis Gyro would be recognized on both, etc etc. I'm only familiar with Gyro aiming on a Dualsense and it's perfect with DS4W but obviously Dualsenses have a stick drift issue so I'm looking to replace it.
See, I thought that as well regarding the gyro issue just adding onto the right stick since I was moving it too. But as you can see at 17:00, I made sure to keep the controller planted on the table. This allowed me to activate the gyro without actually moving it, and despite that I still saw the jump in the input.
Once my Xbox controller finally needs a retire I will for sure be getting the Vader 4 pro as it is the same price and everything about it I love. Thanks Tuuvas for making this video and showing that there is more controllers out there, not just the big brands!

Ngl, this was one of the worst explanations of polling rates I have ever seen. It's much easier to represent it with a band that has spots for every time the controller is polled, scrolling infinitely, while a pointer in the middle turns on whenever we input something. We will naturally see that if the polling rate is low, there is a good chance that the pointer will turn on long before the controller is polled, thus adding s lot of latency.
man i hoard this controller if only the sticks were the same set up as the playstations. I cannot reprogram my muscle memory and hand placement for the life of me for xbox setup controllers
Interesting. This is actually the first time people are mentioning anything about the background music over the last several review videos. In your opinion, would it be better to axe the music entirely? Or just simply tone it down so it's barely audible?
@@Tuuvas Personally I don’t think the music fits at all, but another song or genre will. Just tone it down so it’s barely audible without focusing on it. does it connect by Bluetooth to the steam deck out of the box? cause I saw it doesn't with PC
Dongle on Xinput, Bluetooth on Xinput, Switch Mode
In ur opinion, Xbox wireless controller and Vader 4 pro which one you think it’s better and recommend?
Want to play on Xbox? Xbox controller. Want to play on PC, Android, iOS, or Switch? Vader 4 Pro absolutely. Still want to play on Xbox anyways? Vader 4 Pro + costly adapter that might allow it to work
@@Tuuvas Okay, Thank you
hey nice review
This can be used wired on Xbox?
No. PC, Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch are the only officially supported devices
@@Tuuvas yeah, thanks. Apparently there are adapters you can buy that make it usable on Xbox. The controller was actually in stock at Amazon so I grabbed one. Worse case scenario I just use it on PC.
Do you have to charge if you only use wired?
USB cable will keep it charged. I haven't tested to see if it depletes energy faster than it charges... but I can't imagine that being the case.
@@Tuuvas appreciate it
What do you mean by USB cable will keep it charged?,
The controller has a battery. And a USB C cable connected to a power source will charge the controller...
@@Tuuvas So the controller works from battery even if I use cable? So what should I do when battery dies, get a new controller or what, I wanna know can I play only with cable without using the battery at all?
Hello thx for the video, im waiting my own vader 4 pro as well,
Its for warzone / black ops 6 do u think we need to enable auto calibration joystick ? Or we need to put this off ?
It wouldn't hurt to enable as it only happens when you put the controller down for several seconds. It's mostly helpful for changing your thumbstick tension on the fly
@ ok thanks you for the answer ! :)
should i buy EasySMX X10 or xbox controller for single player gaming on pc?
Is this wireless on xbox?
Only PC, Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch are officially supported
Great video could you rev6the machenike g6 pro starflash? No one has
Awesome Video.. i love my vader 4 pro. I Hope you get the machenike g6 pro starlight too compare

I can’t find this controller in stock. I really don’t trust ordering off Ali Express. Possible to get a knock off version.
Once my Xbox controller finally needs a retire I will for sure be getting the Vader 4 pro as it is the same price and everything about it I love. Thanks Tuuvas for making this video and showing that there is more controllers out there, not just the big brands!
just get a bunch of controllers
Get it now. It has better everythinf including battery life
@@HelloImCrimson the only thing stopping me is knowing that I can't change battery and will have to change it once battery is used up
@@leoblack8497 Battery will last longer than your regular Xbox controller lasts overall.
Won’t let me download the software 😭
anyone was use on this controller can info 800mah how many hours can it last ?
Bro your background music is so load !
lets loose the elevator music, at very least make it half as loud, otherwise nice video!
The background music is too loud
Awesome review!
Thanks for explanation❤❤
Phil Spencer soll die Firma schnell kaufen wenn er vernünftige Controller haben will für sein Call of Duty 😂
Thanks for the deep dive into the D-pad (sarcasm) it was the only thing that interested me
D-pad is solid. I thought I covered it enough with the overview showing its clickiness as well as its ability to keep up with my fighting game part of the review. If you want more detail, I recommend Gamer Heaven's review
Mine only has a manual in chinese
For COD, I'd say use reWASD to get the gyro to work but COD bans reWASD :[
Awesome, thank you.
No problem, Doc!
ill sub
nice video
I would watch this if there weren't already other extremely detailed reviews that didn't have blaring backround music competeing with the voiceover. There are thoigh so I didn't get more than 20 seconds into this.
Nice
Can I buy the controller from you it’s out of stock for me
Ngl, this was one of the worst explanations of polling rates I have ever seen.
Brother it sounds like you’re doing this review in a restaurant with a very loud pianist. It’s unwatchable.
I use headphones when watching RUclips, so I tend to notice weird audio mixing. Maybe people on their phones with less dynamic speakers don’t notice it? Phone speakers tend to be tuned towards to highlighting voices.
The music gotta go
