    I recently replaced the OEM HID bulbs in my 2019 370Z with a set of the Osram Cool Blue Intense next generation bulbs. The light output is significantly brighter and whiter in color, with a crisp well-defined beam pattern. I had been considering getting these bulbs for some time and now wish that I had done it earlier, for the better visibility they afford at night.

    I run these on my Mondeo and I can tell you that for 20 euro and (in my case 2+ years of use) they are cracking...Honestly, the biggest problem in the lighting game is the projector housing. I've had only cars in the past with projector headlights and they all sucked. I've tried HID, LED and top end halogens but it was all a waste of money. They would either look yellowish or blind everyone on the road... The projector housing needs a deep clean every couple of years (which nobody does out of fear of getting moisture after reassembly) . Oxidation buildup really ruins how the lights work, they go yellow and dimmer. Now that I have reflector headlights I feel reborn and the cool blue intense is a nice compromise between seing where you are going and looking less yellow from the front (usually top "xenon look" bulbs run dimmer than OEMs)...There is no other bulb that offers a whiter look with more light output. Usually the top end bulbs give 130% more light and are about 3600k, while the xenon look ones have 5000k and offer - 30% less light. The cool Blue intense are a nice mix for only 20e

  • @redevilrrr
    @redevilrrr 5 лет назад +8

    The white balance of the camera as well as ISO should be the same for the comparison to work. The difference is really small and for the most part can be seen if you change one bulb at the time and also check the lights from outside the car. The difference is there if you´re outside. Then again if the bulbs did produce really blue xenon like, 6000 kelvin output, it would be almost impossible to drive on wet roads because an all tinted halogen bulb emits less light plus the blue light is soaked up by wet asphalt. Had Philips DiamondVision H7 bulbs that were completely blue and looked really posh driving in summer, but also useless driving in autumn and winter and had to replace them. Also those LED retrofit lamps are useless because the LED´s require different placement in relation to the projector and this is unique to each car headlight, meaning the light pattern is likely to be off.

    One of the reason why bulbs go off rather quickly is because many put them bare handed.
    Skin oil will conduct the high heat and consequently kill your bulbs.

    Es un grave error pensar que una halogena con más de 4000 lumines va a iluminar mejor... Hasta 3700 lumines van bien, más de eso, se va a ver mucho más brillante, pero el haz se difumina más, x ende en condiciones de lluvia o niebla la iluminación se va a ver comprometida... No es aconsejable

First i replaced the H1 and it was fkin blue, i was like yeah baby, then i bought the same cool blue intense H7, i replaced it and ITS FKIN YELLOW! no blue, not even white color, its yellow. Is it right or
    something can be wrong with the bulb?
    The H7 bulb’s covering glass is painted slightly blue, but the lightbeam is simply yellow.
    Im so dissapointed cuz i thought it will has
