  • NovaLogic was a software developer and publisher established in 1985 and based in Calabasas, California. The company was founded by CEO John A. Garcia. Garcia's background in computer software started in Southern California in the early 1980s, when he worked at Datasoft. The company was known for their Voxel Space engine, which was utilized in franchises such as the Comanche and Delta Force series. In October 2016, NovaLogic's assets were bought out by THQ Nordic and is currently an inactive label for the company.

F-22 Lightning 3 is about where my NovaLogic gaming started. Man the memories using a joystick and trying to out-beat other players in PVP. I got pretty good at one point. The aiming of the cannon during a dogfight whilst pulling max G's was absolutely key. I just can't bring into words the feeling it brought me to hop on and dog fight against other players. Discovering the all-black paint-job by editing config was an absolute highlight. Played all the delta forces after the first NovaLogic experience with F22 L3.
It's crazy how advanced these games looked to us back then

Wish Novaworld was still up. I remember when they started taking the Delta Force servers down. It was a mess with all the cheats, but was still fun.

F-22 Lightning 2 was my first in computer era. I had a version translated in portuguese and i loved it. The i played Comanche 3 and Delta Force 1. These were the triad of Novalogic i loved. I remember even playing some online matches in Delta Force 1 under the Novaworld.

Yeah but in the days before 3D acceleration that amount of detail, size and fluidity was impossible to do.

Grew up mostly on Novalogic, EA, and Valve games with sprinkling of Zoo Tycoon.
Amazing games, which I hope some of the current generation of kids will find out about one day.
