Should I use replace the lead casing on the wires to the light with something else?
So the motor goes to 2 & 3 and the light goes to 1 & 3. What about the foot control?

I have a Waldorf Deluxe precision sewing machine and all of the wires are entirely destroyed.
Well thats the easy bit. What do you use to replace the lead tube?
When someone says the machine needs to be rewired what exactly does that mean? Would the motor need to be opened up and have wiring replaced?
Have the 221 featherweight wired for 220. Can I simply replace with 110 wiring using the "How to Replace and Rewire the Electrical Components" you tube to accomplish this? Thanks, Linda in Staunton, VA.
