    Hi Todd, I’m pretty sure I’m having the same issue as there is a loud rattling coming from the top/back of the oven when it gets warm. It’s definitely not the convection fan at the back as that works fine and this noise happens not on convection mode. I have an RSE30B Dacor, do you know the part number I would need? If not I will have to take it apart and look. Thanks!

      I do not. I would call reliable parts.com , or repair clinic, and have them do the lookup. Part numbers are typically not stamped on the part. If its a double oven, I would replace both cooling fans at the same time

    Would this be the same process for a single Dacor oven? Model ECS130, looks very similar to the one you are working on.

      It's possible. Tough to say as not all models are specd the same as the actual diagram represents. There are variations for sure.

    is it normal jennair single upper fan be on when starting unit? Should kick on after oven heats up

    • @toddolsen995
      @toddolsen995  9 месяцев назад

      That may be normal. Some turn on when ovens turned on , some are on thermostat. If its not having issues, error codes, weird scenarios I'd say its probably ok

    HI Todd. Great video. Do you have a video on how to check the Temp sensor on a Dacor oven model # EO230SCH? We just had the Relay board replaced in the Upper oven but our service rep (not a Dacor, we dont have any Dacor reps near us) never calibrated after replacing the relay board. When I put in my oven thermometers for baking it is reading 40 degrees higher than the temp I have set on my oven. I think something needs to be adjusted but my service rep doesn't think so and Dacor wont walk us through how to do it. Thanks
    Also does the Relay board need some type of calibration after it is replaced with a new one?

      I do not. You may be able to pull the sensor out from the oven side though. There usually up in the left or right side of the oven cavity at the top. Sometimes there in the center though. Any rate they typically have 1 or 2 Phillip's or 1/4 " head screws holding them in place. Remove the screws, and carefully tug on the wires. If you can reach and disconnect the harness you have a good chance of being able to meter the sensor. A temp sensor at room temperature should read right around 1080 ohms.

    Hi, Todd.
    Thanks for video.
    Can you give your phone ? I have questions about Dacor ( we have error codes U70 comm error and door engaged)

    • @toddolsen995
      @toddolsen995  8 месяцев назад +1

      U 70 refers to the upper oven loosing communication with the realy board. Typically we would remove the communication cable ends, and clean with rubbing alcohol or electronic cleaner then reassemble, and test. If that doesn't work you would be looking at replacing the interface control, if that doesn't work you'd have to replace the relay board.

      Hey, Todd.
      thank you very much, we will try to replace the control panel if I understand correctly?

      As I mentioned above first try cleaning the comm cables before buying any parts that may not be needed.

      If it is still an issue, you will most likely need to replace the upper ove. Power board.
