Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
Another awesome vid Josh! Some of your challenges have inspired me to try other baits and lures. Recently had a belter using chicken off the beach and caught Aussie Salmon, flatties and bream. Sometimes works out cheaper than Tweed bait or expensive lures too. Keep up the good work mate👍
I love you show the leater losses it frustrates the hell out of me and the water shoes I just got a pair use a hot screw driver and poke holes in the side at the bottom to get the water out
Excellent video. Superb challenge. Anything that moves flathead will hit. I have caught them when fishing for blackfish with cabbage on the retrieve . There’s another challenge for you get some sea cabbage and flick for a flathead or two. Cheers
Awesome challenge and outcomes Josh!! What was the eat vs put on a hook ratio mate?? Metals, plastics, surface, deep divers, chips, lollies, bread, chicken breast, what can't you use to catch fish Josh? Great video editing too champ! Stay well.....look forward to what you get into next time!
@@joshdfishing they pull bloody hard and the bicatch is always good.. Rising tide lightly weighted cunji, peeled prawns or soft fresh bread all do the trick! My go to fishing option in the winter months 👌
mate look at how ur channel is blowing up!! i remember watching u at around 100 subs and cant believe how fast you've gotten to where you are. keep it up man and keep it simple 👍
you should fish at moreton island tagalooma pier you can catch red snapper, flaty, bream, GT, Butter Bream (easiest just use bread off the side 2.5 seconds and you got one), and lots more
Aye mate, looking at buying a decent diawa set-up was thinking the infeet or battler paired with what your running the revelry, but wanted to get your honest opinion on what would be a Sick diawa combos for small river fish but also something that's got some kick for some big flattys, love yah work mate
Great vid mate just a question, in some of your previous videos I’ve seen that on your bait caster setup with the alphas your running 20 pound j braid. I’m going to pick up my first bait caster soon and was just wondering if you have had any issues with the line digging onto the spool with a bigger flathead or a snag. Trying to go as light as possible without running a risk. Cheers mate.
SWEET !!!! really should i ever purchase soft plastic lures again its gotta be cheaper to ues lollies and eat what you dont use win win if you ask me id be keen to see you get a party pack and try to hook up on all the variety that was pretty cool
Hey Lil mate. I pressed that like button as you said, but the only thing that went blue was my finger working overtime trying to get the like button blue
The rev is amazing. Super smooth and light weight. Just like the Daiwa luvias in feel and the red colour is so nice when using it for a couple sessions
So funny you bought a new wallet 😂😂 I would've just gotten a mad Spiderman Velcro number to spite all the haters could've possibly thrown a chain on it to make sure they really get upset 😂😂
Bro josh my man you can get flathead too eat lollies but i can’t even too get them too eat my soft plastics witch every disappointed coz they cost me 20 or so dollers and they are a sandy colour and I’m using them at the beach hopping them like you do

You should do a bag review, to show what you carry in in it. I am new to fishing and I would love to know what I should carry?
Cool idea👍

Great video again josh! These flatty’s will eat quite literally anything!😂
I should do a video using weird as things to see if flatty will legit eat anything
@@joshdfishing yes! Use something like I don’t know maybe a spider, crab or bird lure I heard those somehow do surprisingly well

Just about to start watching the video and get an add for lollies 😆🤣
Good stuff Josh, looks like the duskies aren’t that fussy. Wondering did you try to cut strips into the tail or anything else to impart action?
No just used them as is out of the pack. Just cut in half to make smaller
