@@CarterSmith-p6x so ! I have both Saltiga 2020 1000P and Stella 2020 1000PG ! So i can say ! SALTIGA FOR Torque and Stronger ! , But Stella For Smooth and Throw ! Well ! Your Type a Fish, we chose Rod and Reel Catch =))) a but Shimano and Daiwa Best ! HAVE Fun
Brilliant reel, but overpriced. Same as Saltiga. Some dealers asking approximately one thousand us or eu for it, but after a couple of months, drop the price double, and possible to buy one of those reels for 599, or 625 (as example).
Yes expensive, but apparently Shimano and Daiwa make less margin off their flagship reels then their mid or entry ones. R&D costs, marketing and so on adds up. So from a certain point of view you actually get good value for money in way, plus the resell value holds well.
Very disappointed. First of all, in terms of appearance, the past 4 generations have its own unique color, but this new one looks very similar to last generation and makes me feel very boring. Secondly, the most and only significant upgrade to me is infinityloop, honestly I don't think there is reasone and necessity to buy 2025 model. Thirdly, 160,000 yen?? It's a huge leap in terms of price! I'm sorry to say so but I think I will wait another 6 years until the next new release.
They have run out of significant improvements that can legitimately be made to reels. Its a crisis of sorts for the industry that's focused on hype rather than physics.
Wow i was waiting for this
Stella SW D 😮
Hopefully a price reduction after last model price hike seeing everyone is struggling to survive in the financial crisis 🙏
Nope! Priced at 160,000 yen!
@ wow I can buy a car for that price $1600 Aud I’ve noticed they upped the mid range reels $100 sneakily I don’t upgrade reels now because of that.
Both the Saltiga and Stella will be sold for $1499-$1599 in Australia..
I am
@@samasimOFsh yes my 2014 Stella’s were $999 sustains and stradic were $299
Struggling to survive, while considering a high end recreational product........😂😂😂😂
Why did you only update certain sizes?
I wonder which will be better Stella or saltiga
I have owned both and are top of the range reels depends on if like one or the other.
Wait for Alan Hawk to review both 👍
He wasn’t a fan of the last Stella and absolutely loves the 20 Saltiga
I have both, and both of them is just perfect machines. Choice is yours - are you Shimano man, or Daiwa?

@@AMLuc1320 because their mark up is to high sell less. You can get second hand Stella’s for $500 that’s under half value you loose.
