Diamond Daisy pattern for you all to share enjoy and make. Many thanks to Robina for reaching out on IG. This is what it's all about for me, sharing and learning and growing together xx
@@marion19561 Hi Marion as a rule of thum (for me) I usually do 4 rows to start, 36 pattern and then anywhere between 60-90 depending on what length I want the beanie to be. 60 would be fitting and 90 slouchy. Hope this helps Caz
So glad you like the name, I wanted to use your diamond in it and it fits really well I think. You're very welcome, share the love I say, I think the world is soon to be full of Diamond daisy hats lol
I'm so very glad I stumbled across your video. I made a hat in this pattern in caron simply soft pink for my sister. She's going to love it. It really turned out beautifully and your directions were so clear and concise. Thank you!
Thank you and Robina so much for sharing this pattern, it’s gorgeous! I’ve made two hats for myself, and I’ll definitely be making some as gifts for Christmas! ❄️
I have only had my centro 3 weeks and have been looking for videos for things to make. Very late at night I found your pumkin tutorial, I was sooo excited about how you created "pattern" on the machine genius genius. Thank you very much Ps I have subscribed so I can see more Today's video was great too I look forward to more
Lovely pattern! First time I've seen a pattern done on the knitting machine, very nice to watch 🥰 Thank you! Commenting from my bed in my house halfway up a mountain in a small South Wales valley town 😄
I love this, I'm going to grab some yarn and try this pattern, I've done all your others. Forgot to tag you on IG but will correct that now! Thank you for sharing!
Hello, I just found you looking for tutorials to knit with the sentro machine, since I recently bought one. Nice to meet you, I love how you explain. A greeting and a hug from Mallorca. My name is Margarita.
I want to learn all these beautiful patterns, but find it so confusing..lol I have not tried any incase i screw up..lol but do you have a step by step way on how to accomplish these patterns...thanks
A pleasure. To do an identical stitch to a hand knitted one I have no formula I'm afraid. But check out my playlist for other styles of pattern for both machines. All the best Caz
I guess so but you'd probably have to manipulate the yarn yourself if you wanted to do every other on a single row. Striping it would be easier maybe. let me know if you give it a go ok?
Gracias. Envuelva 2 puntos 2 para una fila, luego una fila de punto liso, luego una fila de 2 puntos, envuelva 2 y luego una fila de punto liso. Espero que esto ayude 🙂
I can't see why it woudln't work as a panel as every other row is a plain one. I keep meaning to do a tutorial on each of my stitches in a panel but just haven't had the time as yet. Let me know how you get on if you give it a go.
Hi Angela, my go to count for this style of adult beanie is 4 rows to start 36 pattern and 70 plain for brim and lining - 110 in total. But you can increase or decrease from 70 depending on how slouchy or fitted you want the beanie to be. Hope this helps
I am very new this this but my husband passed away just after Xmas last year. So I'm lost this Xmas but I love all the cute beanies and headbands. Would you recommend the Addie or Sentro? And also all these different pin amounts? 40, 46 or 48 were available but I'm a new beginner as I said maybe turn the road I'll want yo to more but don't want to buy another machine....I hope to make my grind twins and sister in laws and family all cute beanies and headbands but I feel am looking at Greek mytholog when I try to pick a machine??!! Could you advise me which machine can handle all types of yarn cuz I'm sure I'm grab a gorgeous heavyweight fluffy cute yarn to make my headbands with and won't have a machine that can do thick or I'll get too thin of yarn just cuz it's cute!! . Any advice or recommendations you can make would be so appreciated. I'm nit going yo good you responsible got me breaking my machine but you know so much I would just feel better if I had some advice. Much thank ..I just love your vids!! You make it seem so easy!! 💕 Gabby
Firstly I'm so sorry to hear of your husband passing, deepest condolences. Regarding the machines though, I started with the Sentro 48 and then bought the Addi's as they were on offer. Overall I'd say the Addi's are more robust machines, but they are all still plastic. The 48/46 are better for adult beanies and can do smaller heads depending on row count. The 40 I found is great for headbands, but build quality from my own experience has been poor with the machine grinding. Can I suggest if you are on FB to join Addi King Loomers and knits group and aso Knitting Machine Queens, so many fellow knitters on there and lots to look at in the files section. Good luck on your knitting journey and thank you for commenting. Take care All the best Caz x
Merci. Enroulez 2 tricots 2 pour un rang, puis un seul rang tricoté, puis un rang tricot 2, enroulez 2 puis un seul rang tricoté. J'espère que ça aide?

Do you think this could be done with a couple colors??

Is this double layer?I'm trying to figure out how you do the brim and it doesn't curl. Thank you.
Yes double layer thanks for watching

Does this only work in the round or could I also make a panel in this stitch?
