  • We were fortunate enough to be able to visit the single biggest airport terminal on planet earth, being Daxing International Airport in Beijing, China. The starfish design building with only 8 vertical columns means it's a spacious and well lit environment with a maximum of just 8 minutes to walk to each and every gate inside. It's a phenomenal bit of infrastructure so here's a tour!

    Lee,
Zaha Hardid's architectural practice was actually in London UK. She was a renowned British/Iraqi architect. She was originally from Iraq. She designed the London Olympic Aquatic Centre and many other famous buildings in the world. She and her team won the archetectual design of this fantastic airport. Sadly, she passed about 5 years ago, but her practice is still going strong and has a branch office in Beijing.
