It's made from AR400, a high strength and lightweight steel. Not too heavy at all. I would never recommend too heavy of an attachment and in fact have made it my business to seek and/or develop attachments intentionally designed to best fit small tractors.

Looks pretty heavy duty for a 25-40hp tractor. More than certain this is taking away from lifting capacity.....any thoughts?

It only weighs 264 lb. That's the lowest weight for a grapple I've seen
