In the making of vid on B-M Prime, Kanami looks down at the camera far below & says "HEY! Hi there. I'm on a cliff. It's so high. Hey i'm doing good". The most kawai thing ever.😌
Miku said that "Chit-chat, Chit-chat" in this lyrics also mean Japanese word "Chiccha, Chiccha" (小っちゃ、小っちゃ). So what Miku actually mean is "Always that one-upping contest. Insignificant, insignificant!" Always very witty small pigeon, PO🕊💕
@4:32 it seems to me when Kanami begins her solo it sounds just like Bach's Toccata and Fugue. Somehow and maybe my ears are betraying me she makes that guitar sound like an organ!! Band-Maid is Jimmy Page approved!
Funny, while poking fun at the whole influencer culture they are winking at us knowing they are part of it. Miku is a genius at including double meaning in her lyrics - such as Hunky and Dori (2 Japanese words).
I think I heard you say "They're perfect". You be right sir. And that's just the music! See them Live and it's perfect x 5. And you've only listened to their latest. Check out these Lives from their YT channel: DOMINATION-LIVE, ONSET-LIVE, PLAY-LIVE plus they have dozens of MV's that are just as or more enthralling. BAND-MAID are as Awesome as advertised. Peace. 459
The Maids entire US tour was a fantastic success. And so many great live fancams to watch! Their playing and antics were as fresh and fun to experience from first show to last. BRAVO Band-Maid!!!!! Thx, Shizz!
Miku uses TikTok a lot for silly posts. The 'Everybody Look' she says/sings is almost a self parody. But whatever the feeling behind the song. It is a great song. During live shows they all have their moment at the front. During a drum solo the band will all crouch down so Akane can have a moment in the Sun. The same with Misa who will step to the front for the bass solo. Kanami who has the most solo chances always steps up while the others step back.
Tbf I do a really bad job of reacting to lyrics to languages I don't know. I have to remember to put the captions on when they have them haha. But thanks!
@@glenkelley6799 Hmm🤔 thx Glen....i think. I'd have preferred if they carried away my ripped, Adonis like body but i guess "Withered husk" will have to do.😆
Incredible song in every aspect - songwriting, composition, instrumentation, arrangement, playing and performance 🔥🔥🔥 They open tor Guns N Roses this Sunday at 25k seat Saitama Arena so they should definitely open some eyes at home in Japan 🇯🇵. Plus I’d imagine GNR management will be impressed so maybe they want them opening future gigs around the world 🌍 Take care and rock on 🤘🏼
You can do a double reaction for the last song Hate? -- the audio and a LIVE from one of the recent concert footage. :D They didn't sing it in every venue. I think maybe they only sang it twice.
It's an interesting problem for Band-Maid. They are creating songs that they want you to hear, and they want to make a living from it. But they are also creating art. They are baring their souls and they want to be taken seriously. Since the '60s there seems to be this "sell-out" conflict (one of the great, if erratic, concept albums of all time is the Who's "The Who Sell Out"). If you're an artiste then you must be a tortured soul who does not care at all about material things, and if you make a whole lot of money at it you must be a selling out to the mass audience who, by definition, are uneducated masses of asses. Andy Warhol had a big problem with the New York art critics because he designed store displays and magazine advertising when he first moved from Pittsburgh. He wasn't Jackson Pollock or Vincent van Gogh so somehow he was not as "real." Of course this is masculine bovine excrement. They pointed out a RUclipsr "Mr. Rock and Roll" at the Dallas concert I attended, and they recognize they are in the business of being recognized. Their whole image is a nod to the "kawaii" aesthetic and contrasting it with rock music - and yet some will make incorrect assumptions about them ... they don't write their music, they don't play their music, they are pop idols. Yes, they are cute Japanese "girls" who dress up in costumes and play music. Yes, they want to be heard. Yes, they want to make money for themselves and their record label, but they are also musicians and artists that have something to say. This song is a wink and a nod.
One more song! Look for Hibana. It was on the Sense single but not included in this EP. Then you’re completely done with Band-Maid. Unless you hit the rest of their impressive discography. Then you are nowhere done.

She starts by tapping, then hides the pick and picks the rest of the solo. The girl is a musical genius, with a degree in Economics to boot.

At last some commentary on the lyrics. Most reactors talk about the scenery, the playing, etc. Everything but the lyrics. Good job shizzy.

you can go back to their Unseen World album. That is full of bangers too.
