I had anxiety due to stress from my homework and grades yesterday (I’m in high school and I’m 16) and my dog Charlie curled up on my lap and growled at anybody that tried to move him off of me because I’m pretty sure he sensed my anxiety. He wouldn’t get off of my lap until he made sure I was calm. It was very sweet of him. This tip is helpful for if that ever happens again.

I was having such a bad anxiety attack. I was crying, breathing super heavily my heart was pounding so hard, I couldn't see anymore, and I was shaking so much. @dignifieddan.4198 Telling myself that everything is OK, it's just anxiety and it will pass. Actually saying it out loud. Also focusing on my body, shoulders etc and trying to relax them. Also a big one, breathing out slower and longer than I'm breathing in and letting each breath begin in the stomach rather than the chest. We all tend to " overbreathe and not realize it during anxiety attacks.

I used to avoid it and rush to hospitals because I thought I am having heart attack but now I learned to accept that it is happening, wash your face with cold water, breathing exercises. I’m still having panic attacks but I’m trying to live with it and tell myself if worst situation happen, let it happen, but then after it passes, I’m okay. My neck still hurts for two months now but I am avoiding to think anything that will trigger anxiety because I’ll feel that jolt feeling running from my shoulders, neck and head and it’ll make it worst. Never take anti depressants, take magnesium, vitamin b12 and eat on time..no sugar or caffeine.
Hope we all get better soon. Hugs🤗

I usually have a panic attack during or after an argument with my husband. The only one who can calm me down is usually the one who caused it. And usually he's still mad, and will continue to argue, yell, or give me the cold shoulder. This makes it worse.. I will seek him out, begging please help me... Or I'll call a friend to help me come out of it... A calm voice helps.. I was abused as a child by my father.. That's when they started.. idk really, I think in my head I'm back there, experiencing the beatings again.. but this time it's verbal beatings. Meanwhile, I'm planning on, or trying to talk myself into leaving my husband who's an alcoholic.

I thought that i was going to have a heart attack and couldn't breathe and could not stop shaking and had a metal taste in my mouth. I almost called out for today, thank for this. Thank you. You don’t even get it. I will sound like a baby but here i go. ( and this happened 5 mins ago ) I lost my fav sleep mask i’ve been using for YEARS every day. i called my grandma to see if it was at her house bc i was with her all week ( sleeping over ) i just got back today. we trashed my room and it was found in the car by my very angry and tired mom. it’s like 11:15 pm for us rn. we had a very loooong day. but in the end it got resolved. but my breathing was still shaky and they went to bed so this helped to calm me down. Thank you! ❤❤❤

I have thanatophobia and whenever I think of dying I start to get overwhelmed and I can’t breath and I start to cry and it is sorta like a panic attack basically, so thank you so much!

Necrophobia is the fear of the dead and encompasses related associations like bodies, graves and funeral parlors, whereas thanatophobia is the fear of your own death. Necrophobia typically develops in children who have experienced a traumatic life event, such as a family member’s death.

I been in so many hospitals and I had seen son many doctors and my question is Why they never say anything about thanatophobia and Necrophobia? Wow very disappointed. Thanks to you I was able to find these terms. I suffered from both of these terms way back.

@@edilp23can you also have necrophobia without a traumatic event related to death (I definitely have trauma a but I don’t think it’s directly related to death) because I have a fear of death overall (sometimes I get a panic attack from my own/other people bodies, I can’t eat any dead animals and it’s become a obsession to be 100% fully vegetarian. And a lot of my depression and anxiety is related to my fear of death overall, but I’m not sure what name to use, since it’s not only my own death or even actually dying but I had this fear before the first person in my family died
