  • In this video I show you how to rebuild your steering rack on the Kawasaki KRX 1000 with the Class1motorsports steering rack bushings. These are the only bushings currently on the market that address all of the shortcomings of the KRX stock steering rack. I explain how they do this and what the difference are with these bushing in this video and show you how to remove your steering rack in this one

    Make sure to put short end of shaft on drivers side. Dont ask how I know this!

    Still recommend going full tight and then backing off a quarter turn on the bushing that presses against the horizonal steering rod?

      Yes! Ive been very happy with that preload setting. Only thing I’d change about my install is maybe add some lock tight to the bushing before pressing it in to secure a s well as the staking. That’ll help keep the bushing firm in there. Due to differences in bore size in the rack from Kawasaki some fit tighter than others
