I got 3 (three) proof &/or mint set quarters yesterday alone at the gas station in the little town I reside in, and have been getting those & old 1960s & up proof pennies around here all yr. But when I go to NY or Texas to see family, nothing. Too many people, here it's about 10K people and apparently some collectors are spending their proof coins here. It's sad & sorta scary, and I expect the change to get better as things get worse. Take care, keep finding our history bc it should be preserved somehow. Perhaps our coins will be that record in some distant time, it's not like we've built amazing structures built to last 100,000yrs or more, like some much older yet still long gone civilizations have
When getting rolls to look for possible errors what denomination do you think is the best? Over the last couple weeks I've spent a couple hundred on quarters and halves and have gotten mildly lucky but I'm thinking Penny's maybe the way to go. Just go to banks and ask for rolled coins? Thanks! I have a 2013 no mint mark that's like really shiny that, to me, appears to have several errors on the front. For starters, double die on Lincoln forehead and chin, cheek bone and jawbone have odd stamps, 'o' stamp above E in liberty, stamp on upper left of 'N', stamp below 'D' , stamp upper left of 'R', 'S' looks like a dollar sign, and lastly, looks like an 'A' between the rim and his coat. I'm new to all this. What would you advise? I'd be happy to send a picture if you'd like.

When you send coin in to get graded that are that old you get them back with a grade environmental damaged that what pcgs has graded all my old coins
