    Big technical gym session, new pb on the dumbbells, time for a well earned rest… oh hang on, off to the pool… Adam Peaty hasn’t even started his training session! 🥵 That’s a world class athlete right there. Big inspiration for my own rehab. Thank you AP 🤛

    I've been weight training coach since the 70s. No wonder he has had shoulder injuries.
    The ultimate benefit of weight training is to be able to go to "progressive failure" in a total body workout " IN TOTAL SAFETY"..where your sub conscious is not concerned about injury. This can only be done on biomechanicical correct machines where partial reps done slowly and measured accurately.
    This is the ultimate way to increase overall anaerobic progress/ hormone stimulation. Also impossible to injure yourself..you just deplete atp and therefore can tap into more primal energy..which is why yogis can do what they can do.
    Time, load and technique are just as important as they are in the pool. My nephew is Tom Dean. I showed him that way 10 years ago when I was in UK. His coaches did not follow up ' otherwise he would be untouchable.
    More progression includes breathing control...incorporating panic breathing.

      @@rohan9886 he is an elite swimmer not an elite powerlifter. Just because he is great at one thing doesn‘t mean he is great at everything else
