Good idea, I always thought those sawhauls were very overpriced.

Yeah, I'm not sure what kind of propriety material you're getting for all that money, but I bet this will work just as well.

That's a great idea! I'll make one for the back of my Quad for when I have to clear trails. I usually strap it down in a milk crate.

Thanks for sharing, good project. I bought a cutting board and then saw where I could make one by heating and flattening a piece of 3” schedule 40 PVC and heating it in an oven. After heating the pvc I sandwiched it between two boards to flatten it, as it go flat I put a spacer board in it so it didn’t go completely flat. The gap that the spacer went was where the chain bar was inserted. I sawed a 1” strip about half way through at one end and then reheated cut the strip in the middle and then straighten each side so it could fold out and then used the strips to attach to tractor. I may try your design on another tractor since I still have a cutting board.

The PVC isn't a bad idea...depending on your climate. I know PVC can get brittle in the extreme cold, which I experience in the winter. I'd be afraid of it snapping when going through the woods.
