I live in New Hampshire so we live in similar climates. Your videos are great and I reference them before buying things. This will be my first winter with my new bx2380 and next weekend when I do my 50 hour service, I will be doing the same fuel filter mod that you have. Thanks for these videos!
Great info / If your hood is plastic they have a great plastic welding gun to fix that. I've used it on my JD riding lawn mower hood and it works great. I think it's like $25 on Amazon. Got the info from the "Chickanic" channel. Keep em coming
Thanks for the video! I'm glad I'm not the only one with John Deere weights on my BX! I planned on painting them orange years ago, but got lazy. I run 8 of them on a heavy hitch all the time including mowing
One other thing that I would mention that is a really great attachment are the bucket hooks. Very inexpensive and very handy to have. God bless and have a wonderful holiday season.
Great video. Some good insights. I was hoping you'd say something about your exhaust pipe. I'm sure that's not standard. What is the thinking behind it?
Great vid thanks , one mod that you may like is the Kubota FEL self leveling valve. Here in Australia they are required by law so my BX23s was imported with it. My old Fergy didn't have it but my newer furgy did. There is no going back once you have one. And for trivia my BX was made in the USA (maybe all BX's are, I've only ever seen Kubota's that came from Japan)
Just fyi for those that might be looking - got a top link from Tractor Innovations - works great, great communication with the fellow, just installed it - wanted Summit kit, but gonna be backordered on the side/tilt link for about a year, as of last week. Messicks is now about 4 weeks out on their side link (supposedly), just ordered last week. The rear remote vid that Biff put together is a great guide for the install of the rear remote - highly recommend. 2680 here, so slightly different model, but the basics are the same. Male fittings that attach to the Kubota rear remote kit were found at Summit, part # 1/4″ NPT ISO 7241-B. Played hell narrowing that down. Bought half a dozen, lol. Thanks for the summary Biff!
Happy Thanksgiving Mike. I hope ya got your cab on, because IF you can trust the weatherman, we got 2 plus feet of lake effect snow coming in the next few days. Stay warm and dry.
I have a 23S (front bucket/bach hoe). My question is rear balance. I am not planning to remove the backhoe for other functions such as grading. I have a second BX which I use for grading , mowing and other landscape needs. What would recommend for rear balance other than rear ballast on the 23S?
great video with lots of good ideas! Thanks for sharing. I have a question about the third function kit. I have a BX2380 with a Curtis cab, the premium I think. Will this kit work with the cab? The cab is not removable, not easily anyway. It would be a great addition.
If you really want to stabilize your BX.... trade it in on a L series. I looked at the BX originally, our dealer steered us away from them. A good dealer will ask the right questions and put you into the correct tractor.
I think that tractor is too small to do actual work, though better than nothing. You can wring every bit of capability out of it with your upgrades though. Thanks for documenting everything.

Love your channel and content! This is the best!
Thanks Aaron, happy Thanksgiving! 🍁
Really good information.
Glad it was helpful!
Great job as always
I appreciate it Todd
Thanks. Great summary. Appreciate your taking the time.
I have the Kioti cs2210. One thing I did was made a guard for the hst fan on rear end. A stick ate one already.
Nice Vid and Happy Thanksgiving

Great update and recommendations. Have a great Thanksgiving bud, snow is coming soon!
Great video biff! One thing you probably should have added is to shim the hydraulics for more lifting power, but great job man

Hey Mike I am not 100% sure, but I believe Everything Attachments went out of business. As always a great video!
site is still up.
They are starting back up

That’s great thank you for that info, this is my planned upgrade too. Did you have the kit number from Messicks? Thanks!

I'm glad I went bigger than sub size, and have adjustable wheels.
I only put them 2" further out.
And 61 gallons per rear tire
This video is going to cost me money. Glad it's Black Friday tomorrow.
Haha. Let xmas come early!
Love your videos
cab fits with that 3rd function valve where it is?
Good video.
I can’t believe you didn’t mention the bucket level rod.
Good to see Diesel again! Are you still planning to install a turbocharger on the bx?
I don't know how long this discount is in effect, but Summit currently has the third function kits discounted $300. Currently all kits are $700.
have a link for wheel spacers?
I couldn’t use spacers because of the mower deck.

I would fill the rear tires with beat juice and add at least 2-4 suitcase weights to the back minimum.
You don't need any more weight on the rear with the back hoe on .
Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the special day.
Thanks, You too!

Don’t think I can drink that much beet juice
